After having her heart beat to a pulp, Petunia ran back the way she came from with quick steps, covering her puffy face with an arm, never looking back. Only Eden remained in the empty hall, and the black sun closely watching him. Little by little, his smile faded. Then he, too, turned the opposite way. The sun's iris followed him until the end of the window. But Eden didn’t go home. He searched his way back to the boy's restroom, hurried to the mirror, planted his hands on the sink, letting his head hang heavy and hair block his view.
