So where is this Place ?

I held my cell phone firmly in my grasp, as Grey began packing for our upcoming trip. We would only be there for a few days. I can't say that I was extremely excited, more nervous. After hearing the far-fetched tale, Mr anonymous had read over the radio feed, I couldn't bring myself to completely believe or disbelieve his allegations. I was now starting to wonder just how much truth lied in his words. I mean I was an effing vampire, I might as well be only made in legends but here I stand, alive, and ready to disprove everything The man says. Now I'm not so sure anymore, now all I want to do is contemplate, how I'm going to go about asking the questions, to the man who went through it all. I could even possibly get up close and personal with the man himself, get a personal account, of what actually happened. It depended on how much he talked to the truth or if he would even talk to me at all. I couldn't say that I wasn't extremely intrigued at the possibility of finding out what no human has found out thus far. Gripping my phone in my hand, I dialed my personal Assistant's number. He would need to be notified, as I was leaving to God knows where, for several days. My wolves would need to be told my whereabouts, just incase, I did not return. We already had a plan set in place just in case something ever happened to me, they knew how to take care of themselves. If I'd ever disappeared, they would live the rest of their days hidden in the shadows of the forest. His dial tone was loud in my ear as i entered his number into the keypad. He picked up on the first ring. " Yes Sir!" Said the man on the other line. " Hello there Mr. Fin, I will be out of town for a few days and if I do not return, for whatever reason, please do tell my animals what must be done. " " Yes sir! Anything else I can do for you Mr. Black, sir? " The man's voice was strong and thick with a Slavic accent. He was a good man, been with me since since the man before him. His Grandfather had worked for me as did his grandson then before and so on. I couldn't trust just any human with my finances, my business, and of course my secret. Each man swore a death oath, signed in blood, they would never double cross me. I trusted them with my life, as they trusted in me with theirs. I let Fin know how long I planned to be away and had him transfer money to main account just incase there was need of extra. " Other than that Mr. Fin I will not need anything else. " " If that is all Mr. Black I will kindly say, be safe on your journey sir" The call then ended with a loud dial tone beeping in my ear. I clicked the cell phone into the off position, placing it on the coffee table in front of me. Holding a suitcase in one hand and a small duffle bag in the other, Grey came out of from the guest room of my two bedroom penthouse apartment building. It might as well be her room, she was the only woman I ever let " Stay Over" or even inside, other than her sister Rachel, which I just recent sort of met for the first time, three days ago. Shit, she had saved my sorry ass, I guess I could now at least semi trust her, a human/demon aka daughter of Satan. "She did give her father a vile of my life saving fluid ! If I hadn't been absolutely out of my f*cking mind, I could have at least, avoided that freaking mess of a night. I should have found a vile creature to kill and drain. "Damn, brain wasn't working good as the head below my belt was..... s*x craved deviant !!! " I 'll blame the exotic dancer whom I met in the back dressing room, damned succubus can't keep her hands to herself. I wasn't there for s*x, I needed my fix, she needed hers. It was suppose to be a simple transaction between us, obviously that worked out !!! Ha! It worked out beautifully, I freaking passed the hell out and now regret it! Shrugging my shoulders, it wasn't like I could do anything about it now but at the least I could try and find out where it might lead. Hopefully the Lord of Hades, didn't have some crazy agenda in mind, using my blood to achieve it. The snapping of fingers in front of my face brought me back to reality, Gina was standing there, tapping her leather sandaled toes to the floor, impatiently. Wide eyed and fully alert, I gasped, " Wtf, Gina ? You shouldn't try and interrupt the thoughts of a strong, vampire, such as myself. What if I thought you were a meal? Geez!" I taunted her, teasingly sticking my tongue out at her. Gina's Gaze appeared frustrated, her baby blue eyes stared down at me from in front of the black couch. " If your gonna stick your tongue out at me, at least freaking make good use out of it, sexy Killer. Are you gonna pack, or what? " Taking a seat on the leather couch beside me, she eyed the cell phone on the cherry wood coffee table. " Take care of things?" She asked " Yes, talked to Fin, my finances are in order, as they should be, and Fin knows what to do, while we, I am away. So Where are we going exactly, each time I've asked you've only given me bits and pieces ?" She nodded, " So as I said before, my step father and mother, reside in a place in plan sight, you wouldn't know it, no human would know, well other than me. " Grey folded her arms up against her chest. We are going to have take an airplane ride, to get there. " She eyed me, turning her head slightly to the right. " We have to get to New York, there is a bar there, mom knows of its where about very well, as that is where she met the bastard. The area is like in some kind of gateway between this world as well, hell. I think Satan even owns the damn building. That's how he'd sunk his nails into my mother, damn fool, she'd been going there for a few years. Her sick-o boss used to take her there after work all the time. " I raised my eye in her direction, " Wtf, wow, this conversation is taking an interesting turn. " Man, you learn something new every day, I mean, I'm an eefing vampire, living among humans, pretending to be a human. I now could no longer stop believing in Santa, The Easter Bunny, or unicorns. If hell was here on earth and I was a f*cking legend, living breathing, undead being. I can only imagine, what other creatures walked among the living on earth. Gina continued this time pointing me in the direction of the bedroom, a small black suitcase sat opened on top of my elusive king-size four poster bed. As ordered, I got to the necessary packing a bag with clothing and stuff, as Gina continued her previous conversation. " So, anyways, Mother said Satan, ummm, Nicolai, had an eye on her, for a long while. You know she changed her looks too, after she moved to New York. When she lost me, she cleaned up her act and turned her whole life around. I don't believe her intentions were pure, she always had a reasons, as long she got something out of it, in the end. I sorry, Lord up above forgive me when I say this," Greys head darted up to the ceiling, and her hands in placement for prayer. " The two assholes, deserve each other, she might as well be Satan in a woman's body, she is such a pretentious b*tch. She so wanted to be the center of f*cking attention, if it wasn't about her god forbid anyone else seek happiness. She is so damn selfish!" Grey sat in the leather loveseat at the corner of my massive bedroom at the far corner of the room, her legs crossed arms still across her chest, agitation covered her face. The mention of her mother, really pissed her off, couldn't blame her, her mother put her through hell and probably more. I don't think she told me about everything that happened, when she was young. We weren't that close, I don't know if she even trusted me that much, but what I did know, is that she was hurt, hurt bad. Finishing up piling in the last of my things, I clasp the lock shut on my luggage. Grey had just finished making the reservations for our first class tickets to the good old New York City. Not a place I intended to visit again, this soon. The last time I had been there was in the fall, twenty years before. Things were much different then, but people we're still assholes. Shit, I had never been on an airplane ride before ..this was gonna be one interesting freaking trip. I didn't need to fly , s**t I could just ride my bike. Shifting in my seat nervously, I watched as our small time towns lights started to disappear as we drove into the outskirts of the city. Ugh, what they hell was I getting myself into?
