The harsh rays of the sun hit Scarlett's eyelids, forcing her to squint. She turned over, hugging her pillow and enjoying her sleep when the sudden realization of what day it was made her spring up from the bed.
It was the day of her fundraising and she hadn't even rehearsed her speech. She had no idea how she was going to get ready in such a short space of time. She ran into the bathroom to freshen up and then came back into the room and opened her laptop.
