“Goddamit Scarlett, pick up the damn phone!” Adrian groaned, pressing his phone against his ear. The phone finished ringing and yet Scarlett did not pick up. He let out another loud groan and then sent her a text message which simply piled up along with the ones he had previously sent.
Since she angrily left his apartment after he refused to touch her any further, she had refused to answer his calls. Adrian was afraid that she would go ahead and give her virginity to Ethan, that is if she hadn't done it already. He didn't like the attitude she was giving him, it made him restless.
Ever since he discovered that Scarlett was the girl who saved him when he couldn't defend himself, his perspective of her changed. Maybe it was because of the attachment and respect he had towards her back then
