Things got really faster after Eva’s dad agreed to perform the surgery. He feared that he would become emotional and do something wrong while doing the surgery. Edwin encouraged him saying that he will assist his father in the surgery. Dr. Mehta took Edwin and his dad inside the emergency ward. Within few minutes Edwin came out with a nurse and she was holding some papers in her hand.
“Mom, since dad is performing the surgery, he can’t sign the consent letter. You have to do it as it is the hospital rule.” Edwin took the papers from the nurse and gave them to his mom who signed them with trembling hands.
