Chapter Three:

He opened the door to the dorm and saw two bunk beds positioned together at the walls of the room. “Great, I have to share a room with a bunch of people I do not know.” Sighed Ray. Not that he was a person who hated company, but many other races who wielded magic tended to look down on humans since their magic aptitude was low or none at all. Most of humanity’s mighty figures all did not have pure human blood other than the human emperor, Kael Lenin. He placed his bag on the top bunk and climbed up. He laid down on the bed and stared absentmindedly into space. Unexpectedly, the door swung open and a boy walked into the room. The boy saw Ray’s bag and sighed. He placed his bag on the bed on the other bottom bunk bed. He then proceeded to sit down when the door was abruptly flung open by a blonde burly boy with long wavy hair and a toothy grin of mischievousness. He saw the lonely boy and went to introduce himself. He suddenly stopped and looked at Ray’s direction. “Hello, my name is Logan. I am a werewolf.” Said Logan, speaking to ray. Now Ray was surprised. Werewolves were one of the rarest races on earth though they mostly came from the other planets which had been discovered. “What races are both of you anyway?” Logan asked with curiosity. “My name is Ray Scott. I am a normal human with no ability.” Ray lowered his voice without confidence at the last part expecting Logan to tease him. “Huhh, a Human. You must be extraordinary if you managed to pass with no ability, let’s not bet on you being fully human. “Logan said with a wink. “Ohh. Thanks.” Replied ray with a smile. They both looked towards the other boy. “Uhh, my name is Peter and I am a human with the wind affinity.” Logan then went to place his bag on the bed below ray.
