After school, Summer followed Angel to meet Kate. She wanted to try out for the cheer team to get her dad off her back, but Kate outright refused. At that moment, only Summer, Angel, Kate, and the twins were there. Summer and Angel weren't invited, but Angel found out where Kate was and went there.
The princess walked into the place, approached Kate, and spoke, "Speak up, Jackson's waiting for me, Kate." She pursed her lips and looked around. The only invited guest was the princess, but both Angel and Summer were now present. Seeing Kate hesitate, the princess said, "Speak now, I don't have all day. You should be happy I agreed to meet with you; it's only to curb my curiosity. So if you don't speak now, when I walk out that door, I won't agree to meet you again."
'Screw it,' Kate said to herself, but still didn't give too much information. "You told Jaden, didn't you?"
The princess laughed out loud while Summer listened intently, not trying to make it obvious. "He finally found out."
"You b***h, you promised not to talk."
The princess's smirk faded. "Watch your mouth, Kate, I don't owe you anything. Blame me all you want; I don't care. You must be really stupid; you had him but couldn't keep him. Now you want to blame me for your stupidity?"
The princess scoffed and said, "As I expected, this is a complete waste of time." She turned around and walked over to Summer. "Are you guys heading out?"
Summer nodded.
"Yeah."
"But aren't you trying out? Are you giving up because Kate is in a bad mood?"
"I am not giving up. I thought about it; I am too busy to join these. Maybe I'll just throw a party to get my dad off my back?"
Summer said as they were walking towards the door, and it caught the princess's attention.
"You wanted to join the cheerleaders because of your dad?"
"Yeah."
"And are your parents okay with you throwing a party in their absence?"
"Mostly my dad. He will even carry his wife to stay at a hotel for two days. If I tell him that I want to throw a party in the house."
Angel frowned and asked, "Two days?"
Summer nodded. "Yeah, one for the party and the other to clean the house."
"Your dad is really cool," Princess said, bringing a smile to Summer's face. Then she nodded.
"Yeah," Angel added. "I'm guessing that he's the one who bought you that bike, then?"
"Yeah, he did."
By then, they had already stepped out of the school doors, so Princess bade them goodbye and went over to Jackson's car.
"What happened?" Jackson asked as she entered his car.
"She wanted to know if I told Jaden that she cheated on him with Max."
"Jaden told me. But how does that concern you? Did you know before the two months?"
"Yes, I'm sorry, but I didn't tell you because you would have told him," Princess said, shaking her head.
"Since when did you care about what happens to Kate?"
"I don't care what happens to Kate, but I wanted Jaden to find out himself. Everyone knows that I don't like her, and it's hard to believe she would cheat on him, especially with someone like Max."
Jackson nodded but didn't reply. After five minutes, he said, "I'm sorry." By then, they were already at Jackson's place. He came down and walked toward the door, entering his empty house with Princess behind him. When he clicked the door shut, Jackson said, "That still doesn't change the fact that my girlfriend knew and let someone I see as a brother be deceived. You know that I don't keep secrets from him. I don't know how to look at him tomorrow without feeling guilty."
"You can tell him, I don't mind," she said. He grabbed her hand and took her to the kitchen, making her sit on a kitchen stool. Standing in front of her, while she looked up to see his face, he added, "Please don't do this kind of thing again. It hurts me to know that you still keep secrets from me."
Princess looked down, feeling guilty. Jackson, knowing that she understood and was feeling guilty, smiled and wanted to say something, but she beat him to it. "I promise that I won't do it again."
She then wrapped her arms around his waist. Jackson couldn't help but smile, seeing how cute she looked now, not the usual uncaring or fierce princess he often saw. He wanted to say something, but she beat him to it.
"Do you forgive me?" she asked.
"Yes, I do. You should act like this more often when we are alone; you look too cute," he replied.
Princess buried her face in his chest to hide her blush and meekly nodded.
She felt the blush creeping up her cheeks, but she still meekly nodded against his chest with a smile on her face, making Jackson laugh out loud at how shy she was.
"Come on, let's make some popcorn and watch that scary movie you wanted," he said while looking at her.
"It's supposed to be at night," she replied.
"I like to save the best for last. A movie can't stop me from spending time with you; besides, you'll be too tired to watch the movie by the time I'm done with you."
She unclasped her hands from her back and tried to get up, but Jackson held her waist with his hands and drew her closer, then kissed her. It wasn't a soft kiss but a hungry kiss, plunging his tongue deep into her mouth, trying to taste every inch of her. He kissed her like a man who was dying of thirst and hadn't had water for days. No matter how hard he tried, he couldn't get enough. As Princess tried to remove his shirt, he broke the kiss, their tongues still connected by a trail of saliva.
"Not so fast, we have a movie to watch," he said after taking a moment to regulate his breathing. But she didn't seem to like his decision and tried to kiss him. He stopped her by putting two fingers on her lips and added, "You have to wait as a punishment."
Jackson said this even though he thought he couldn't tell if he was punishing her or himself. Princess seemed to notice his bulge, so she gave it a playful squeeze, making him groan. Then she hopped down and added, "Come on, let's make the popcorn!"
Jackson chuckled. "Naughty girl."
As Summer entered school the next day, she noticed that people were looking at her and whispering. When she reached her locker, her friend Angel said, "There are rumors going around, Summer, and it's about you.
