Maybe Today?

Prologue

[Jessie's POV]

"I know, Stacy, it's already hard enough for me too." I said to my best friend, "Maybe you can come down here soon and we can have a girl's weekend. I love you girl, but I needed this." I hang up the phone and put it in my pocket. It wasn't my first time in Florida and I needed to get out of this airport and to the place where I will be calling my home for the next year. There was this big crowd gathering and I was feeling suffocated, I hurry up with my luggage. But as I started walking, I got pushed to the ground by this huge man.

"Um, excuse sir, other people exist too," I shouted at him as he walked away. Some people just really irk me but I shouldn't cause a scene. Instead I gather my things, get up off the ground and head outside. I'm in a new town for a new life. I get into a cab and make my way to my new home.

By the time I get to my apartment it's already half past midnight and I'm extremely tired. I decided to unpack a little and then head to bed.
