Chapter 2

In a short time, news of the disaster immediately spread widely. News of the disaster immediately shocked the entire population of Australia.

The entire western Australia police force was deployed to the streets. They barricaded the road with cars and iron fences. For weapons, Hugo Murphy has no problem using any type of weapon as long as he carries 3 types of weapons, namely melee weapons, long-range weapons and explosive weapons.

Currently, Hugo Murphy is seen carrying a clever machine g*n that he has modified. It has a black color and has a length of about 90 centimeters. The weapon is equipped with a g*n strap, a smart scope sight and a side sight scope holographic type.

Because this is an emergency situation that threatens national security, all superheroes in Perth are free to act to help and protect civilians there, including killing enemies.

Hugo Murphy entered an area that the police had blocked access to. The atmosphere was really chaotic. Cars had been destroyed, many buildings were damaged and nearly collapsed. Hugo watched the man body fall from a height and land on the road. The man's body immediately dispersed quickly. The blood on his body immediately spread widely on the ground where he fell. Hugo quickly regretted his actions, Hugo only hoped that the man had a quick death.

The dragon flew from the building it was in. Hugo immediately guarded himself by hiding behind a large car, hoping the dragon wouldn't see him.

The dragon flew high in the sky while scanning the ground below for the person who had attacked it.

In just a moment, the dragon flew away behind another skyscraper. Hugo thought he had escaped for a moment.

From behind another building, Hugo was surprised by the appearance of a group of orc warriors who were large and tall far above normal humans. The orc army took several people as their captives. The people who were held captive by the orcs were seen crying in fear and not daring to fight back.

Hugo couldn't help but stare at the gruesome sight. Hugo immediately reloaded his g*n, after which he immediately took aim at the group of orc soldiers by placing his g*n on the hood of the car he had used for cover.

Hugo aimed for the head of one of the largest orc warriors. When he was ready, Hugo immediately pulled the trigger. The continuous volleys that Hugo's guns fired straight at rained down on the orc soldiers he had targeted. The large orc immediately fell as several of Hugo's bullets managed to lodge in his head, as did several other orcs nearby.

The orc army was taken surprised by Hugo's attack. Some of the people who were held captive by the orc soldiers were also shocked and took advantage of the situation to escape.

Some of the orc soldiers immediately ran towards Hugo, while several other orc soldiers chased the prisoners who were trying to escape.

Hugo immediately moved away while shooting at the orc soldiers who were getting closer to the car he was using for cover. Several orc soldiers who had arrived near the car used by Hugo for cover were immediately greeted by a huge explosion from under the car.

It seemed that Hugo had left a grenade right under the mobih before he left. The grenade and the car also exploded and burned about five orc soldiers nearby.

Hugo Murphy reloaded his weapons and fired at the few orc soldiers that were getting closer. Hugo aimed for the head of the orc warrior who wasn't protected by the armor. The bullets in Hugo's weapon are made very effective to penetrate concrete walls, as well as the firepower of his weapon. The thick flesh on the orcs' bodies was nothing to the weapons.

Even though Hugo seemed to have the upper hand in that battle, the speed of the orc warriors also kept him alert.

Seeing several orc warriors keep moving closer to him, Hugo couldn't keep fighting with his weapon. Hugo immediately took out a shotgun with a short barrel strapped to his back.

His black short-barreled shotgun was of the fostech type that he had modified and had a round magazine that could hold sixteen bullets.

Hugo aimed for the head of the orc soldier who was a few meters in front of him with his shotgun. With just one shot, the head of the orc soldier who was several meters in front of him exploded and scattered in the air.

Hugo instantly finished off the other four orc warriors with the next four bullets. Unfortunately, Hugo seemed to be in the lead for the time being. Hugo didn't notice an orc solder approaching him from the left side. Hugo only realized it when the orc soldier was only a few steps away from him. With a bang, the orc warrior hit Hugo with a wooden club which he swung with both hands.

Hugo was immediately thrown and landed on the window of a parked car a dozen meters from where he was standing. The orc soldier immediately ran and jumped towards the car where Hugo landed while swinging his club vertically at Hugo.

Hugo immediately jumped down from the car to avoid the orc soldier who was about to land on him along with his mace. After successfully dodging, Hugo immediately blew up the orc soldier's head with his shotgun.

Hugo immediately straightened his body and felt pain in several injured parts of his body. Hugo was relieved that it was the last orc in his battle this time. Hugo Murphy managed to kill 17 orc soldiers and save several defenseless civilians.

Hugo Murphy had to move quickly because he couldn't stay still for too long. He was reminded by some of the civilians he just saved, it seems they were running in the wrong direction.

Hugo immediately left to chase the misguided civilians.

Hugo Murphy also followed the path the last time he saw the civilians running. They all ran towards the right of the road.

As Hugo Murphy turned to the right of the road and run through some blocks, from a distance he saw a surprising sight.

Corpses were scattered everywhere, and a few hundred meters in front of him, he saw that some of the civilians he had helped were still alive. Some of the civilians he helped earlier had been killed by the armored soldiers who were currently holding the civilians captive.

Hugo prepared himself and observed the conditions first before starting to act. There were about 30 armored soldiers in front of him, and there were 16 civilians who looked like they were still alive. Each of their hands are bound by a rope that is connected to each other.

The armored soldiers were tall and slender, most of them carrying melee weapons. Hugo didn't find it difficult to fight them all, but what he was worried about were the captives who had little chance of salvation. There were several armored soldiers standing guard near the captives.

Luckily for Hugo, the street was also full of abandoned damaged vehicles and some building debris. He can take advantage of these conditions to hide and sneak.

Hugo moved forward and immediately hid behind the wrecked car that was a few meters in front of him. About 10 meters in front of him, there was an armored soldier who was seen pacing around guarding his surroundings.

The armored soldier immediately fell down covered in blood from his head. Hugo immediately sneaking forward.

Hugo continued to sneak forward while shooting several enemies stealthily.

Hugo has now managed to kill 6 armored soldiers. The group of soldiers had not yet realized that Hugo had managed to finish off some of their members. Suddenly, they decided to move and take the captives.

The panicked Hugo crept forward quickly and shot a soldier who was the closest to him.

Hugo immediately moved to fire at the next armored soldier who was about a dozen meters away. Unfortunately, the body of the armored soldier fell quite hard and caught the attention of several other armored soldiers in front of him.

"There's an enemy in the back!" Shouted one of the armored soldiers told his other comrades.
