Chapter Fifty Bryce looked at his father, whose mouth hung open. They stood side by side leaning forward against the cement railing, shrouded in the glow of the last light of day, staring at the hang glider retreating into the distance. An ever darkening sky crowded with thick black clouds split by streams of gold, yellow, and red as the sun settled below the horizon. The sky looked foreboding and filled with danger. His heart tightened in his chest. He was not going to lose his one true love forever. He wouldn’t accept losing her. He had to save her, or die trying. He glanced at his father.
