The celestial palaces of Cronos
Metis and the twelve Homo sapiens were moving slowly but steadily towards Cronos’ palaces, while snowfall was becoming thicker. As they were climbing up the mountain slope, they could see far yonder a mixture of clouds, fog and mist, concealing completely what was lying at the back. The area was a bloomless place, desolate and completely devoid of fauna. An utter desolation!
As the group were moving in that mirthless and barren area, full of stones and short, weather-beaten thorny growths, they suddenly found themselves in the clouds, mist and fog, so thick that they could hardly see one another, that is why they formed a chain of hands so that no one would get lost.
