The two friends continued their journey to the Tartarus, following the sounds and the moans. The nearer they came, they more hideously loud and deafening those sounds became. The moans struck fear to the cowards and empathy to the brave. What kind of torture were the imprisoned Cyclops subjected to in the black darkness of the guts of the Earth? What wrong had they committed to deserve such punishment from Cronos and such kinds of torture for thousands of years? As they approached, the Earth started trembling. How could Earth tolerate all those tremors and did not let its tectonic plates shift, causing all sorts of earthquakes and mayhem?
