When Zeus and Mitis returned to Mount Olympus, they found Prometheus waiting for them there and actually worrying a bit about their delay. He knew that Oceanus had blood relations with Cronos and he was afraid that the former might betray Zeus. But notwithstanding that, Oceanus remained neutral, although, under full secrecy, he would lend a hand to the glowing Olympians. For that reason, following Zeus’ dominance over Cronos, the former let Oceanus and Tethys alone in their kingdom. When Prometheus finally saw Zeus and Metis, he was quite glad to see them. Through the first words he exchanged with Metis, Prometheus was enchanted by the prudence she was characterized with. Finally, everything went according to plan.
