The whole route from Hades to the River Acheron, was named by Zeus as the ‘route the souls would follow including the evaluative and purgatorial processes they would have to be subjected to until they reached the final judgement, before Pluto and his committee. Member of that committee would include Minos, Rhadamanthys and Aiakus, representing the most impartial and just people ever lived. Others would join them later but in lower grades.
