"Alright," I breathed, gathering my composure and glancing at Emma's still sleeping figure. I mentally prepared a plan and got out of the vehicle, shutting the door and walking over to her side.
I opened the door and caught her from falling face first, scooping her up and hoisting her deadweight out of the seat. This earned lots of strained grunts and growls as I pressed her against the side of the backseat door, using my knee to close the front door.
It bounced back open with a loud thud and I heaved, groaning loudly at the fact I just smashed her skull between the metal jams. She still didn't budge.
