Coral’s POV
The first thing Coral felt was warmth. Heavy, solid warmth pressing into every inch of her, cocooning her in heat. Her lashes fluttered as she stirred, awareness creeping in like slow waves reaching the shore. Her body ached in the most delicious way, a deep soreness that pulsed with every slow, shallow breath she took.
Then she realized—Jason was still inside her not deep though.
Her breath hitched. He was still on top of her, still connected to her, his weight pressing her into the mattress, grounding her. His arms wrapped around her like he had no intention of letting go, his face buried in the crook of her neck, his breath steady and warm against her skin.
