Coral’s POV The sun had barely risen, casting soft golden light over the house, when I darted down the stairs. My heart was pounding, my mind racing with thoughts of the necklace and the unsettling questions surrounding it. The faint aroma of coffee and oatmeal wafted through the air as I rounded the corner into the kitchen. My mom Ireland was sitting at the kitchen table, her glowing hazel eyes fixed on her tablet.
