Coral huffed as she wrestled with Gio’s sneakers, trying to get him to sit still long enough to tie the laces. The boy was a ball of energy, squirming away every chance he got, giggling as he dodged her grasp. His twin, Gia, was no better—dancing just out of reach while swinging her tiny backpack around like a weapon.
Raymond, her younger brother, was right in the mix, laughing as he ducked between them, adding to the chaos. The three of them were inseparable, almost like a mischievous little pack of their own.
“Raymond, at least pretend to be helpful,” Coral muttered, finally managing to secure Gio’s shoes.
Raymond smirked, flopping onto the couch and kicking his feet up. “I am helpful. I’m showing them how not to get caught.”
“Yeah!” Gia cheered, immediately taking off
