Three days after the ball, Jason couldn’t shake the feelings of unease that had been gnawing at him. His pack was falling into line, and his new members were shaping up well, but the disrespect he'd witnessed—from both Magnus and his Luna, Lisa—was something he couldn’t ignore. Magnus’s behavior had been outright disturbing, especially how he looked at Coral, and Lisa’s treatment of Reed was just as bad. That kind of disrespect was not something Jason would tolerate.
