As Coral stepped into the room, her scent enveloped the air. My dragon stirred in response, eager, demanding. I tried to reign him in, but the pull to this woman was overwhelming.
"Come, have a seat, love," I invited, gesturing toward the table where I’d set up a simple but thoughtful gesture: strawberry shortcake and champagne, along with my personal spellbook. It was time to test a spell my mermaid sister had recommended to break the curse on the necklace and determine if Coral was truly my fated mate.
