Smile

"Impressive." He looks astonish, "Oh, thank you." He put his eyes back onto his paper and continues his scribble, "I didn't know you were there." "Did I surprise you?" I step on to the bench and sat beside him. I throw a piece of corn chip up in the air and catch it with my mouth. "May I sit here?" I was just trying to annoy him. "Si Seῆorita." then, he shook his head. I saw the curves he made on his lips. "Gotcha!" "Huh?" "Your smile." I sip through the tiny straw while looking at the students who pass by in front of the cafeteria. I'm glad there weren't many of them today cause it didn't have me to take hours to get something during break. He stops for a moment and tries to stretch out my lips with his two index fingers. "Much better." SHIT. Now, our eyes meet. My heart just started to jump off from ecstasy. Is he trying to lure me with his eyes than his lips? Is there anybody can stop me? . . . cause I'm almost giving up and I don't want him to win this. I could just cup his face with my hands then grab him and caress him with my lips. I wish . . . My desire for him causes so much self-torment. If it wasn't for him, I've gone for a long time. "You're trying so hard. You know what though?" "Ross. . ." "You don't have to keep it. Kyle has told me everything." "I'm sorry. I really don't want to go." He took my hand and squeeze it, "Don't be." "My dad's condition is getting worst. He needs us more than anybody else. . ." "Hey, you can still visit me if you find time, right?" "I can." I told him. "That's great. Then, there's no way to be sad about." Next thing he did surprised me. I did feel the warmth in his body, heard the beating of his heart and smelt the scent of his masculinity. I hope we could stay like that forever, like he'll be with me forever. It wasn't the first time that he put his arms around me, but the way he strokes my head down to my back tells me that I must not leave. His small gestures give me more hope even if it is a fight a losing battle. "S-sorry." he apologized. I let go of him. Students are setting about their way inside the building which means, everybody must go back into their classes. "You left your food uncovered. There are flies all over it." I told him. He acts like being disgusted, "Ew. It was from the dude who sat here before." "HAHAHA! Ross, stop doing that. You sound so gay." "Are we really best friends? You forgot, I don't eat burgers." "Oh, yeah." Hmm. "Hey Ross!" "Yes?" He keeps his stuff inside his bag. "Did you finish your drawing?" I asked. We stood up and walked together like sweet couple. Almost. "Uh-huh." "May I see it? "Yeah, but it's just a typical moon drawing." he passed it over to make me see it. I scan every page of his drawings, "You're very talented." "Thanks Nyx. Actually, I still think about what I gonna draw during the competition." "I know it's one in a lifetime experience for you but must it be that really hard to think?" "Not entirely but, I want it to be something different and special, you know." Then he smiled. "I see that." His smile . . . And so, my heart melts. He's indeed a ray of my sunshine.
