Every day, I wake up either by the sound of her voice or by the ring of the alarm clock. It has become my routine and our daily scenario. There were days that she goes up and down on the stairs numerous times because I slept like I hadn't been on my bed for days (for the reason of playing my favorite game ArcheAge.) I lifted my head. Aw! I felt like someone has put a heavy cemented stone on the back of my neck because I hardly move it. I glance at the alarm clock on the side table. Cool! I can't believe I'm up five minutes before my alarm to ring. I decided to stay on my bed for a little since I have few time left. "Yeah, coming down!" I shouted. Her voice never fails to annoy every morning, but I wouldn't know what I would do if one day I stop hearing her calls my name. I walked downstairs almost half asleep. I could hear the splashing of water in the faucet she makes and the frying noise of her cooking. I wish it was Saturday so I can have another day that will provide me much needed rest. Unfortunately for me, it is not. I have to bear in mind that I 'must' graduate, get a life so my father will be so proud of me. Yay. "Hmmm . . . smells good. What are we having today, Ms.?" I sneaked out behind her. She mixes the dish with full confidence, "chicken adobo." "Wow!! "Hmm. . . " "You're not sick, are you?" I jokingly put my palm on her forehead to check her temperature. She snaps my hand then points her lips, "I know you would like it." "Aweee!" I put my arms around her and then tickles her. But no matter how many times she tries to resist my control, her ability wasn't strong enough to escape. "Moxie. . ." There was a brief pause until⎼ "What was that!?" I was immediately alarmed by the little cuts I saw on her upper limbs. Though, her sleeves could reach down to her wrists, but when she moves her arms, they aren't giving much cover to her skin. "A-ah, this? I chopped onions . . ." she bit her lips Tsk. I don't know how many onions does she has to put on her dish in order for her to cause injuries. "Give me your hand." I commanded. I attempted to take and hold her arm but she quickly moved it away. "Ross, I'm perfectly fine." there was no hint of worry in her voice. Am I only over reacting? I cross my arms and look at her sharply, "Fine. You should be more careful, okay?" "Yes! Yes!" she laughed. "It's not funny at all." She then hug me and touch my cheek with her lips. "A-aaand what was that for?! I asked. "You're going to wash the dishes after meal." "Ohhhhh. Fair enough." I took the dish spoon from her to test the flavor of her adobo by taking a small part into my mouth. "How was it?" She waited my answer. But, I just nodded. "AWWWW!" I put my hand and gently touch my shoulder. "Why did you hit me? "You didn't like it." she said. "I didn't say i wasn't! (I was just trying to annoy her. HAHA) "You hit me like you are going to break all my bones." then she continues.., "Whatever." "Como'n, I was just kidding" I laugh "Hey Ross..." "Yes?" I ask while taking out the plates in the cabinet to set the table "Your breathe stinks."
