Nathaniel POV
I was exhausted, a pounding head, aching back, and aching legs. Thank goodness it was finally time to go home. I was anxious to see my raina and my little nāla. I stop at a red light, rubbing sleep from my eyes.
I opened the radio trying to create noise to keep me from sleeping. The honking of a car sounded from behind my car, my eyes flew open and I pressed on the gas.
'You can't fall asleep. Just a couple of more miles to go before you reach home sweet home. Stay. Awake. You can do it Nathan.' I encouraged myself
I pushed on the breaks, stopping at a stop sign. I quickly grabbed my phone and called raina. She picked up on the fifth ring
