Too Good To Be True

Chapter 8

"You've been abused?" I asked looking her from the other side of the bed

She didn't say anything but got up from her spot and walked to the bathroom slamming the door shut and I'm pretty sure I heard the lock to. I walked over to the door and twist the door knob to find it lock, just as I thought , I knocked on the door several times but I didn't get an answer at the end I decided to just leave her alone 'maybe she'll come out later' I walked downstairs to the kitchen and decided to make breakfast.

After I was done making some oatmeal for the both of us I put them on separate plates then sat to eat mine and waited till she came down so I could apologize, why, I don't know , I just felt bad for clearly bringing something up from the pass that she obviously didn't want to be reminded of.

I finished my Plate of oatmeal and started walking up the stairs to my room but stopped half way up the stairs, there she stood at the top of the stairs with black jeans , a blue shirt, and a black sweater. We stayed there for a couple minutes just gazing into each other eyes before the silence started killing me and I decided to break the thick ice

"I'm so-" I was cut off by her soft voice

"Its fine"

I frowned I hate being cut off through mid sentence when I'm talking

"Let me finish then you could sa-"

"I'm going to work " she interrupted me again

She walked past me and out the door, I grabbed the plate of oatmeal and followed close behind her

"I'll drive and I made breakfast thought you were hungry"

I gave a small smile even though she couldn't see me sense her back was facing me

"I'm not hungry and I can walk"she grumbled

"Come on just eat at least half.... If you eat then I'll leave you alone" I came up with the conclusion as she opened the door and stepped out

"I'm fine" she speed up her pace

But me big the one with long legs caught up with her in tree big strides

"Look I just want you to-"

She swiftly turned making me bump into her which made the plate fall to the concrete floor breaking into pieces

"For the last time I'm fine OK. God didn't give me legs for nothing."she almost yell out

She turned around and walk away leaving me frozen in my spot, I put my hands around my mouth

"I'll come pick you up at eight sharp!" I yelled but only got the middle finger in response

I looked down at the now shattered plate, I let out a sigh before bend down to pick up the glass that were big enough to see. After picking up the plate I went back inside and sat on the couch opened the huge Samsung flat screen on the wall before changing it to some live baseball game, I switched my position and laid down on the large L form chair.

January 16, 2016

I awoke from the sound of my phone ringing I'm not sure when I fell asleep, I slowly opened my eyes and answered the phone without looking at the ID

"Hello"my voice came out husky and out of tone

"Where have you been..... Have you been smoking or drinking cause you sound like you have , I thought you said you were going to leave all that Nate,ugh I've been calling you for hours why haven't you picked up" Claire's upset yet worried voice rung

I chuckled"no I haven't been doing any of that" even though I could use a blunt right now"and I was asleep, you know sense I didn't get much sleep last night" I explained

I heard her let out a sigh " I thought you were with that skunk.... You scared me baby don't ever do that " she pouted

Now she knows how I feel

"I'm sorry babe it won't happen again OK" I apologize before sitting up from the couch and look outside to see it all ready dark

'Crap I forgot to go pick her up'

I quickly got off the chair grabbed my keys and walked to the car not listening to a word that Claire was saying

"Look Claire I'll call you back I got to go love you"

I cut the line not giving her the chance to reply, I reverse the car and back out its parking spot. Once I arrived to the library I parked the car and got out to go get raina from inside, I walked in the huge library looking all over there place for her not caring about the curious glances I received from the people I whisper call her name but I got nothing back, I walked to the counter where this male stood, he had black messy hair, two eyebrow piercing on top of his right brow and a couple of tattoos on his left arm, same height as me

"Uhh.... Hi there I'm checking for raina blue, is she anywhere here or have you seen her" I asked now getting nervous that she probably left without me

The guy in front of me stared at me clueless, I let out sigh

"She has hazelnut skin, dark hair..um she was wearing black skinny jeans, v neck blue shirt, an-" I was cut off by the mans raspy voice

"Ohhh the hot babe that just got hired, she left about two hours ago man. I know why your checking for her though" he broke into to a smile "because she is hot as hell, and you don't want to miss with the hot babe she got a temper, but that beautiful round as* of hers is something I wanna push myself into "he finished

I felt like punching him for talking about her in such way, but I ignored him and walked out the library got in my car and quickly reverse and speed off to the house, I figure if she left two hours ago the she must be home.

I pull up in front of the house parked the car and got out, I walk up to the front door to find raina sitting on the second step her elbows on her knee's

"I told you to f*cking wait and you go home earlier than your suppose to. Just to f*cking not be in a car with me are freaking serious" my voice roared

She didn't say anything as she stood up and waited for me to open the door, but I stood in front of her short figure looking down at her 'she needs to be punished and learn her manners' I thought to myself as my eyes traveled down her body before going back up to meet her eyes

"Are you gonna open the door" she asked voice cold as a bucket of ice

"Your still mad at me, come on just get over it already I tried to say sorry but clearly your huge mouth wouldn't let me speak " I speak getting closer to her

She stood silent against the brick wall as I trapped her putting both hands on each side of her head

"Are going to let me speak now" I softly ask gazing into her beautiful brown eyes

"Maybe if you open the freaking door then I would" she replied with a hard on face

"Yeah.." I lower my head to her ear " there's just one problem.... I don't trust you"

I nuzzle my head between her neck and shoulder and kissed that spot softly

"You could get your little sickening hands off me" she harshly said with a rough push

I backed away from her and smirked down at her "you have a lot a force for a small women like you"

She snatched the key from my hand and open the door slamming it in my face. Before I can protest there was a loud horn of a car that got my attention
