He delivered the last sentence with a humorous glint in his eye, his gaze holding a hint of something intimate. I froze, my face burning as I stared at him. Moments later, I grew even more flustered, my cheeks burning with shame. My heart began to race, and my mind couldn't help but wander. My instinct told me there's something between us and even my wolf Tala was paying close attention to him. But I can't exactly confront him.
