Amy was doing pretty well and she knew why most of her workload was taken by Abhishek and even though she felt a bit bad about it, she thought there's nothing bad if someone is willing to help. she realized that her colleagues had started to feel jealous about it and started keeping a distance from her. For her, the office meant just Abhishek and she couldn't disagree that the solution to all her problems was Abhishek. She often flirted with him, one of her friend said, this is the only way you can keep a man interested in you. It didn't matter she liked it or not this always worked for her.
She found a letter again in her lunch box quite strange! But this time it was from Abhishek.
“Oo these lonely nights breeds such ugly thoughts
and I can't stop but look at you
when you smile I see my half moon and then I smile to complete it
and I love to stare at your eyes
these eyes remind me of the silence
of the silent night that lets the stars shine
I can't help but get lost
and could never shine so bright
this bones and flesh feel useless! Restless! Without you
this letter sings that sad song
that every night i die without you”
After reading this poem she looked back at Abhishek whose face was all red. He was sweating at the moment and she realized if she remained silent for another second he’ll fade.
“was it for me,” she said in a calm voice trying to look normal.
“yes…no.. yes …” he stammered
“yes,” he said taking a deep breath, Amy giggled at this.
“I like you too” she controlled her laughter
“but I am not ready for a relationship”
Abhishek was almost blank, he had an expressionless face
“it's okay,” he said in a low voice and left the room without talking much.
