Painful Suspicions OneCampbell tried to forget his apprehension about Sergeant Preston during his short flight to New Detroit. He decided to first check in with Penelope to ensure she wasn't the victim of the newest murder. Much to his relief, she wasn't, but her tone remained frigid as if the second murder was his fault.
No surprise there, he thought. He asked her to meet him at the penthouse when he arrived, but not before he called her again to ensure the guard bots didn't shoot her.
Next he checked in with the guard bots at Yamamoto's penthouse, and the disposal bots that reported the new murder. He ordered the guard bots in the penthouse to remain at their posts. Then he viewed the new murder scene projected by the disposal team.
