It's awake

That night I paced back and forth in my room getting anxious every minute. I can't believe I just found out about this I can't really remember anything I slap my forehead, of course I won't remember anything because I don't know a thing about all that's happening it's like surprises after surprises keep popping out of nowhere. Who knows tomorrow when I wake up they'll reveal that I'm a bunny or something. I heard a know on the door and I felt disappointed when I opened it. I don't know but I was hoping it was Stephan.

"How are you feeling, Elise?" Lane asked "What do you think?? I just found out yesterday that we're not related and everything about our family... I mean your family and the mess we're dragged to and now I am some kind of animal or something, ah... a monster... am I a monster, Lane?" I said while walking back and forth. Lean grabbed me and embraced me tightly in his arms. "It'll be fine. I'm here now and I promise we'll try to find your family and I will do everything to fix all the mess my family did. Let your brother take care of everything and you should not worry." I wanted to be comforted by his words but that won't change the fact that it won't be as simple as how he said it.

"Lane, what if I transitioned and hurt someone tomorrow" I asked teary eyed staring at him. I am so worried that I might become a monster. "You won't do such a thing, okay? I suggest you take a rest and we'll handle things tomorrow?" he said kissing the top of my head. I nodded at him and he left the room for me to rest. I decided to take a shower it might help me calm down. I went in the bathroom and took off my clothes and I ran the shower on as I felt the warmth of the water running through my body I started to feel relaxed, I closed my eyes and just enjoyed the moment. 'Hi' I opened my eyes in shock, who was that what now am I imagining things? I thought to myself. 'No, you're not crazy. Ahhh' the voice yawn like it had slept for a long time. "Who are you and why can't I see you" the voice chuckled as I said those words 'of course you can't! I'm inside you Elise!' what does it mean by that! omg I'm crazy. I started to panic and went out of the shower. I wrapped myself with a bathrobe and was about to go out why I felt my body started to shiver. I felt a sharp pain run down my spine. My whole body collapsed as I began to feel numbed. I can't move until I lose consciousness.

"Elise? hey wake up please!" I heard a voice calling out to me. I slowly opened my eyes and saw Stephan looking like he had lost someone. "Thank goodness you're awake! What happened?" he asked. His voice was full of concern and worry. "I don't know what happened. I felt pain all over my body and I lost consciousness" I said trying to sit up. He looked at me as if there was something bothering him. "What's wrong?" I asked him. "Nothing, it's just that it's a sign that means your wolf is now awake." He said looking worried yet has a smile on his face. "Really? but you guys said I will be able to transition?" I was curious yet I don't really want to transition. "Yes, you should have and that's what I'm confused about as well" he replied looking at me and gently stroking my hair and tucking it behind my ears. Then we heard noises from outside, curious we went out together and followed the noises downstairs.

"We know she's here! let us in!" shouted at someone from the main entrance. "You can't just come here and make a scene we can talk about this calmly" Lane responded and there's a hint of annoyance in his voice. "Lane, what's going on here?" I rush towards him and pat his back. "You shouldn't have gone down here, Elise." he said his eyes were full of worries as he stared at me. "I knew it, you're here." said the guy whom Lane was having an argument with with. He looked at me with such excitement and hope in his eyes. "I am Leonard Wood the Beta of your father I am very pleased to be in your presence, Elise" he said as he bowed down to me. "My father? Which father are you referring to Mr. Leonard?" I asked. "Your biological father. The one who misses you dearly." He responded with such genuine emotion that I felt the sadness in his voice when mentioning how much my father misses me. "How did you find her?" asked Stephan who was standing beside me holding my hands. "Ohh, Prince... I mean Alpha Stephan, it's an absolute honor to meet you. We found her by instinct. We knew she was back, she was awake. She is our future Alpha and as a beta I will suck at my job if I cannot even locate where my Alpha is." He responded. Mr. Leonard looked very calm. I think he's in his 40s, he was very masculine and his eyes were grey. "Where are my parents then?" I asked. I am so eager to meet my real parents and find out what had happened to me when I was a baby, why did they lose me. "I went here alone to confirm my suspicions I cannot risk the safety of your parents when there are a lot of threats surrounding us." He said looking down. I just knew him but I felt comfortable with him like I've been with him before but I cannot fully trust him after all that happened back in the kingdom. Lane instructed the maids in the mansion to assist Mr. Leonard to one of the guest rooms as we talk about whether to believe him or not. We went to Lane's office and started discussing.

"I think he's lying about how he was able to locate her she doesn't even have her wolf yet" Lane stated furiously. "Lane, the thing is I think she has her wolf now" Stephan said. "However, she didn't transition" a hint of disappointment echoed in his voice. "What are you talking about?" asked Lane. "Before we went down here, I felt the pain like I never felt before and I heard a voice. It was talking to me." they were staring shocked at me when I said that it was talking to me. "That for sure is your wolf, Elise. Like my wolf Blyke. Those wolves that have high status like Alphas and Betas have their wolves talking to them like a voice in their head who has its own mind." Stephan explained. I cannot believe it was my wolf whom I was hearing a while ago. "But I can't hear her anymore? Do you think she's gone?" I asked if I was worried filled my emotions. "No, I think she's not. Maybe she was pushed back because of the sudden pain you felt and because you didn't expect her to come yet" Stephan answered reassuring me that everything will be fine. "So what now?? We believe him?" asked Lane. "Maybe for now we keep an eye on him until Elise meets her parents" Stephan suggested. After that talk we went back to our room It was almost three in the morning and I was fast asleep in my bed before I even knew it. The night was peaceful and I didn't have any nightmares. I think things are going to be great from now on.
