Path to nowhere

"Father, I... I can't breathe" I struggled as he continued to strangle me with his bare hands.

"You think you can fool me! Stephan will never be able to take you away from this kingdom ever!!" He said while laughing. I felt my body tremble as I slowly lost consciousness. It was dark when I opened my eyes I was back in my room and just as I was about to think it was all a nightmare I woke up to see myself tied up in my own bed. Stephan where is he. What did my father do to him and why did he do this to me. I can believe my own father would hurt me. *Banggg!!! My door swung open and Stephan was standing wounded.

"What happened to you?! Where have you been?" I asked nervously.

"I will tell you everything later for now we have to get out of here, the Apolo tribe is coming and they might be here any time now!" he quickly untied me and I grabbed my bag under the bed as fast as I could. Stephan held my hand as he led me out of the room.

"My Lady, quick here!" Mr. Bernon instructed. We followed him into a dark hallway. I've never been here surely he knows this place better than I do. We went in a hidden door that was made to look like a wall. Mr. Bernon then stopped walking and looked at me.

"My lady, your father has gone mad. I never thought he could hurt you! Something is not right and I know you are not safe here! You must go, you must leave it's not safe for you to stay here. Whatever happens you must be kept alive you're the last heir to the throne and they will come to kill you. Prince Lane told me this before he left I thought he was just being hilarious."

"Mr. Bernon how about the other people! We must get them to safety the...the tribe, Apolo's they're coming!" I said my voice shaking and I was about to cry.

"My lady there's no time! I will try my best to save as many as I can but first I need you to he safe. Prince Stephan, please take good care of her highness. You must also take this." Mr. Bernon hand a bag full of gems, golds and other jewelry. Then he pushed us towards the dark tunnel. "Just keep walking, you'll find your way out." He said then left. I don't know what to do or say. Everything happened so fast and I can't seem to understand anything. Stephan grabbed my hand and we started walking. We've been walking for what seems like hours but we've yet to see the end. I'm getting exhausted and emotionally unstable when Stephan said that we're almost out. I looked straight and there I saw a light. I felt really happy and run towards the end of the tunnel.

I can't believe what I'm seeing. It's a place I never thought existed, there were many weird things around that I can't seem to figure out. I looked back at Stephan and he was out of the tun... the tunnel was gone. It's like it was never there in the first place. I looked at Stephan who seemed just as confused as I am. As much as I feel a bit relieved I am also nervous about this unfamiliar place. We stand there not knowing what to do next and we just stared at our surroundings trying to stay alert for any possible danger we might come accross with.

"Prince Stephan?" a well dressed man wearing something that doesn't look like a clothing from our kingdom approached us. Is he from a far away place? Stephan pulled me to his back as he faced the man.

"There's no need to be protective, I am here to assists you. I am Hernan, Prince Lane's personal butler back in the Kingdom of Sycamore" he said bowing to as.

"My brother? Where... where is he??" I asked peeking out from Stephan's back.

"I see you're, Ms. Elise. Your brother has mentioned me all about you and I am sent here to be at your servant." he said smiling at me.Why does he speak weirdly. His tone and some of his words are not something I hear back in the kingdom. He didn't answer where my brother is. He might be a bad person trying to decieved us.

"Don't worry, Prince Lane is waiting for you back in the mansion but it's quiet far from here so it's better to spend the night at the hotel near by. Tomorrow we'll travel so you could meet your brother."

"Hotel? what's a hotel" I asked curiously. Mr. Hernan chuckled and smiled "Oh sorry for the confusion your highness. It's a place where you can stay or sleep temporarily. Let's go I will show you." He walked towards a tall castle called hotel that is so bright and beautiful. Everything here looks amazing things I never seen in the kingdom before. A person opened the door for us and we followed Mr. Hernan as he talked to the lady wearing weird clothes. "I would like three different rooms for all of us" Mr. Hernan said to the lady. That means I'll be staying alone in a room? I dont think I can stay alone after what happend and not here in this unfamiliar place. Stephan seemed to know what I was thinking as he voiced out my thoughts. "I will be staying in her room. She's soon to be my queen" He said firmly protesting at Mr. Hernan, he just looked at him smiling and then instructed the lady that we'll just have two rooms. After taking some square piece of like paper from the lady Mr. Hernan asked us to follow him. He stopped infront of a metal door and pushed a button then it opened like magic. We went inside and there are so many buttons that have different numbers and letters on it. Mr. Hernan pressed the P button and by stomach feels like something's tickling from inside. A few moments later the metal door opened and we followed Mr. Hernan as he walked on a wide hallway. I watched carefully as he put the card on the door and a green light appeared and the door opened on it's own like magic. We went in and the room looks more beautiful than my room back in the kingdom. It was huge and the bed was huge. There are things, many things that I don't know. Mr. Hernan stayed in our room for a while telling us everything we need to know. I can understand some, but not everything. Mr. Hernan also got us some clothes that we can change into he said that these are called modern clothes.

"I will take a shower first" Stephan said then he walked towards the bathroom which Mr. Hernan thought us how to use. Moments later I heard the shower went off. Stephan walked out of the bathroom wearing weird but fascinating clothes. He looked quite handsome. We locked eyes and I realized I was staring at him. "I... it's my turn now!" I said jumping out of the bed and taking the bag where my clothes are. I took a shower and it was so great. The water feels so nice and relaxing, it has heater said Mr. Hernan. I took a long shower because of how relaxing I felt and how calming it is after a very long day. I wish I could wake up from all this if it's just a dream, it's a really weird dream. I dry myself with a towel and put the sleep wear clothes.

"Ahhhhhhh!!!!!" I shouted so loud that Stephan came bursting from the door.
