Did I just confess? She hugged me??? My mind just completely shut down after what happened but not going to lie though, there's a hint of relief that I finally got what I was feeling off of my chest...I love this human but...how will things continue from here...?
As Alexandrea embraced me tightly, I perked up hearing distant footsteps. Multiple footsteps heading our way.
"Alex. Don't make a sound..." I whispered to her as I wrapped my arms protectively around her.
"So this is where you run off to during your 'hunts'..." A familiar voice cooed out in the shadows. Father...?
