Armand went to her side of the car and opened the door for her.
Armand: Now, you move out and pick a wedding gown. This conversation is through.
Kam went out of the car then. Trying to make sense of everything.
Kam: Why can’t I make my opinion? Or even question this situation? Don’t you understand what am I feeling this very moment?
Armand: I’m sorry dear, but I really don’t care. You are just trying getting my sympathy huh! I’m through with your play “damsel in distress”! There is no use of arguing with me Kathryna. You will marry me and that is final.
Kam: I’m gonna call my father. Then this irrational game will be over. No more non sense. You'll get whatever you want and I can continue my life.
Armand: You can try. Let’s see who will beg at the end.
He is taunting her.
Armand: Go on and call your father. Act as if this is not your fault. Just go on pick a gown and stop wasting my time.
Then he went inside his car and drove away. Leaving Kam alone and she got no car to take her home. Her bag is left in Armand’s car. What is worst when she tried to book a car her her cell phone shut down. She tried to turn her phone again but it’s not working. She stomped her feet towards the direction they came from. She was quiet but her mind is running with so many thoughts, from what she’ll do now to what she’ll do to go home. She was thinking to asks Chelsea to come and see her, but that is impossible, she can’t even call her. She is trying to look for a cab but the cabs are in use. It was a Friday and it seems like everybody is going out of town. She can’t ride a bus, she don’t have cash with her. She is thinking of walking until she can find a way to her office. But that was quite far. She can’t see any pay phone around. She has been walking for almost an hour but still no taxi stopped in front of her. It was quite a hot afternoon. She is still wearing her coat on, and her feet are starting to get so weary. She started to take of her coat. After the 3 hours walk she finally got to her office, it is almost 8pm. The guard asked where had she been, but she was tired to talk so she just told him that she had a long walk. She took off her shoes and walk in the office barefooted. After she drunk water, she sat in the sofa and in a few minutes she lied down and slept. Too tired to even call someone to drive her home, or even put her shoes some where away the door. She just lay down and slept.
