CHAPTER 33 | Holly –––––––– I have design block. Or creativity block. Or whatever you call it when you can’t concentrate on your real future because you’re too mired in your present. And mostly you can’t stop thinking about Beau Kent. I stare down at the sketch I’ve been agonizing over for the past three hours. It’s still not right. It’s supposed to be a punk-influenced ball gown and it just looks...messy. I need to take away a few elements or maybe combine them more effectively. Or maybe just give up, I think, flinging myself back against the kitchen chair and glaring at the ceiling.
