I checked outside to be sure we were not followed and no one was lurking by the passages before shutting the door close, locking it with the key we got from the hotel receptionist.
Hiding in a hotel was not my plan, I'd prefer to drive out of town immediately with the kids but Nurse Alice said otherwise.
