Ember's POV My eyes slowly fluttered open and landed on the ceiling. For a moment I did nothing but just stare dumbly at the ceiling absentmindedly, enjoying the peace and silence that came with being alone. It's been a day since we came back from the beach resort and I've had a lot of time to think and decide what it is I want for the kids and I. Truth to be told, right from the very beginning I already knew what I wanted. I just needed the courage to go for it. I sighed, sitting up. "I wonder where Mia is?" I muttered under my breath, glancing at the time. It was already 9 am yet no sign of her which is so unlike her. She's like a leech I always wanted to get rid of every morning because she's always in my face trying to get me to wake up, get dressed and get ready for the day. Funn
