The Fairy & The Thug #3

Daisy stood astonished. "Your mom is a cop!" She exclaimed. "Congratulations, Detective Daisy," smiled Eric. "So, you really don't work for the mafia?" She asked, looking almost disappointed. The Police Chief massaged her temples, looking annoyed. "Eric, you have ten seconds to explain before I decide what to do with you." "Those three assholes were joking around about how funny it is to f**k innocent fairies. Innocent fairy was right there, so was I." Now that she knew their bond, Daisy's eyes kept going from Eric to his mom, trying to see the resemblance. There wasn't much, actually, except maybe their curly black hair. Even their skin tones were slightly different. Her eyes kept going from one to another so often that both Eric and his mom couldn't take it anymore and turned to her, making her realize this was a bit awkward to do. Daisy looked down, embarrassed. The cop mom sighed. "Alright, fine! Sweetheart, do you confirm what my delinquent son says?" "Oh, you call me sweetheart too..." Noticed Daisy. "Just say yes, Daisy," sighed Eric. "Oh, yes! It's as he said..." She then turned to the three boys who had been waiting to the side, frowning. "Should we get to you then, gentlemen?" "That guy assaulted us!" Screamed one of the boys. "Oh, did he? Shall I charge my son for assault, then? I don't mind. Well, of course, I'll also have to call your parents, since you all appear to be underage. I'll take my time and explain to them you three were brought here under suspicion of attempted r**e of a minor, inter-species racism, and harassment? Oh, right, I should mention she's a fairy, of course. Your parents will love it once it's brought to your School Board Chairman!" The three of them gradually went white. Their school was a very elitist one. Not only would their parents be absolutely furious about their behavior, but being kicked out of school for bullying a fairy, one of the most innocent creatures around, was a shame they'd never recover from. They started begging the police officer to settle this, to not call their parents, and so on. She shook her head and turned to Eric and Daisy. "What do you want to do with them? You can press charges if you want, sweetheart." "It's fine..." Said Daisy, who didn't want to look at them. "They can apologize, to begin with," said Eric, "for being dirty assholes who think they can joke around about f*****g innocent girls and trash-talking people." "Sorry! Sorry, we are so sorry!" However, Daisy refused to look at them. Those guys were making her feel bad, and she signaled her uneasiness by stepping closer to Eric and grabbing the end of his jacket with two fingers. Eric was annoyed to see her looking down, while those idiots were just there and only apologizing to save their asses. He sighed, taking a cigarette out. "Mom, you can just take care of them. I'll take Daisy home." "Alright. See you later. I left your money at home." "Thanks. Come on, Daisy, let's go." Daisy nodded and followed after him to leave the Police Station. It was getting a bit chilly outside. Eric lit his cigarette, taking a long drag. "So, where do you live?" "At the Rosary Gardens Residence, it's a few streets away... I can walk there alone." "It's night time. I'll come with you. I'm headed in the same direction anyway." "Okay!" Eric chuckled. She was so obviously happy to have him walk her home. She was so transparent about everything... They started walking, and he could tell she wanted to ask him something. She kept glancing at him, biting her lower lip, and fidgeting with her fingers. "Ask it, Daisy," he sighed. "Can I? So, your mom is a cop! Is that why you don't go to jail even if you fight with people?" "I don't go to jail because I'm underage." "But you smoke! Underage people can't smoke!" "My mom doesn't care if I smoke. She always said she'd rather know about my wrongdoings rather than have me doing it behind her back. So yeah, I started smoking last year, and she knows." "What about your dad, then? Is he a cop, too? Or is he in the mafia...?" She asked, looking a bit hopeful. Eric shook his head. "Forget the mafia, Daisy. No, my dad is a normal guy living on the other side of the planet since he divorced my mom three... no, four years ago." "Oh, I'm sorry..." "Why?" Daisy hesitated for a while. "I don't know," she finally said with a shrug. "I heard people apologize when someone says their parents are divorced." "Don't, then. If people divorce, it's because it's better for them to be divorced than to remain unhappily married. My parents are fine the way they are. They just split up as it happens to normal couples." "I see..." Daisy kept muttering things to herself, and Eric was pretty sure she was repeating it to remember for later. The streets were a bit cold at that time and rather empty. This wasn't a bad neighborhood, but somehow, Eric wouldn't have felt comfortable letting a pretty girl like Daisy walk around. "Parents don't get divorced in the fairy world?" He asked. "I don't know... I don't think I've ever heard of one there. My dad and mom raised my siblings and me in the fairy village, but I only go back for special occasions like the holidays now." "How many siblings do you have?" "Twenty-six!" Eric almost choked on his cigarette. He tried to remember the lesson about fairies and biology, or the one about their way of living. Still, he had probably skipped that day in school. "I have twenty-three sisters and three brothers. I'm the sixteenth oldest and the second one to go to a human school," explained Daisy with a proud smile. "I... I see..." Eric couldn't even imagine life with twenty-six siblings... "So, why did you decide to come live in a human city? Are you living alone?" "Ah, no, I'm living with my older sister, so it's okay! I just wanted to see something else... I was a bit bored at the fairy village, and I'm really close to my big sister who came to live here, so I wanted to go with her and experience something new. I like it, though! You have fun games, a lot of books, and the streets are so exciting! I like going to the human school, too, despite the..." "The jerks like soccer-boy?" Daisy nodded. They kept walking, and he could see their little talk had sent Daisy to her thinking again. She kept frowning a bit, and her little nose, too, would have its freckles move as she was pouting and mimicking stuff with her lips. Eric tried hard not to smile. She was like a little animal, constantly active, thinking, jumping from one question to another... "Eric? Is it bad to be a virgin?" Eric sighed. At least this time he didn't choke. Daisy and her frank questions... "No, not really. Our human culture just puts it into the heads of boys like them that it's something to conquer, and for girls to think it's precious or something." "It's not, then? A lot of girls in my class talk about s*x, but I don't get it. Sometimes, they say it's bad to be a virgin, but they also say it's bad if you have too much experience. They call each other... sluts... I'm a bit confused, but I didn't know who to ask... You're the only one who won't call me an idiot." Eric shook his head. Of course, of all people, she had to be comfortable asking him. That was a weird conversation to have with a fairy he had met two days ago... A dangerously pretty fairy, too. She was aware of her beauty, but unaware of the effect she had on men. Was this some kind of torture? Once again, Daisy was just too pure for her own good. "It's human culture... What do fairies say about s*x?" "I don't think there is anyone who says slut or virgin..." "That's what's wrong with humanity, sweetheart. s*x is fine, as long as it's consented. Making a girl think she has too much or not enough is bullshit. Your body, your rules. Some people like it, some people don't. If you like it, do it, sweetheart. If not, it's okay not to! We exist because of s*x, yet there's still this weird taboo for some reason." "I see... Then, do you like s*x?" Eric chuckled. "Yes, I do. But don't ask that to everyone, Daisy, you'll be mistaken." "Would you have s*x with me, then?" She asked, tilting her head to the side. Eric sighed, shaking his head and looking at his cigarette, or anything but her. "Daisy... you can't ask that." "Why not?" "People will take advantage of you. Have s*x with you." "You said it's not bad to have s*x, though?" Eric nodded, taking a drag of his cigarette, trying to find his words. "It's not bad, but it doesn't mean you should do this with anyone either, sweetheart. If done wrong or with a partner who doesn't care about you, it can be painful. That's why you have to think about it first. What if you end up sleeping with a jerk like the soccer boy? You're going to regret it, and guys like him don't deserve a chance with a girl like you." "Oh... I see," said Daisy, nodding. "I don't want to have s*x with him at all." "Good." They walked a bit longer, and Eric was finally satisfied to have a couple of minutes of silence. He was a bit worried, though. He could almost hear the gears in Daisy's brain working hard from where he was... He was preparing himself for the next awkward question to be asked by a fairy in the middle of the street. "So, you would have s*x with me because you like s*x, and you like me, but I should ask about it first?" "Yeah... I mean, no! Well, not that I wouldn't, but... Crap. It's just that this is how you're supposed to do things. If you meet a guy, get to know him first; the question about s*x comes a bit later. But that's the rule for any guy, Daisy, not just me, okay?" "Okay!" Her bright smile wasn't reassuring to him. Eric could already tell Daisy had not focused on the part he wanted her to understand the most... He wondered if the fairy's standards were really low or if she had some sort of odd fascination about him. Maybe if he could have her focus on someone else... He wasn't sure that was a great idea, though. He didn't know any guy that would be good for someone as innocent as Daisy. What kind of guys do fairies date? Well, as long as she could forget about him, not meet some douchebag, and get on with her life... He took one last drag on his cigarette. Maybe he should try to distract her. She was the kind to not let go of a topic unless you give her something else to nibble on. "So, anything new since the last time we met? Aside from asking people about me..." "I tried to discuss with the human girls from my class again... I am not sure they like me very much, but our class representative said I could come to her birthday house party tomorrow. She gave me a really pretty invitation with the address on it." "Do you have it? The invitation?" Daisy nodded and took it out of her school bag with a confident smile, like a child handing her homework to her teacher. Eric checked it quickly, but it looked genuine. He was afraid those girls might have been playing some bad joke on her... Well, maybe it would be worth verifying later. While handing the invitation back to her, he noticed some large stain on her school bag and frowned. Daisy's perfect clothes and hair didn't look like she was the negligent type... "Daisy, what's that," he asked, pointing it out. "Oh, one girl from my class spilled her drink on it... But she said it was an accident, so it's fine!" "Does she have lots of accidents like that?" "Hm, no." "No one tampers with your stuff?" "No... Oh, just once I had chewing-gum on my gym clothes, but I don't know if someone... I mean, it was in my gym bag, but..." Eric felt pissed, just listening to that. Those little bitches in her class probably thought it was so easy to bully an innocent fairy, he didn't think people could be as mean as to do that kind of crap. He took a deep breath. "Did they say anything else? About the party?" "Hm... They said I should bring some food, and I have to find a costume! Apparently, it's a costume party!" Eric's anger raised an inch. There was no mention of a costumed party on the invitation, and he doubted that the party had turned into a costumed one at the last minute. "Don't go costumed, just put on your pretty casual clothes. No skirt or dress, too. Just pants." "Oh, okay... But what if she gets mad because I didn't put a costume on?" "Just say you forgot, it's okay. Or say you're disguised as a fairy." "Oh! I can show off my wings, then?" "Yeah, do that. Oh, and don't drink anything they give you; just carry an empty cup or put tap water in it. They might try to have you drink." "Oh, it's okay, I wanted to bring organic fruit juice! I can't drink soda or alcohol anyway..." "Why?" Asked Eric, a bit surprised. "The chemicals in sodas make fairies really sick, and with alcohol, we get drunk very easily..." "Okay, then just do as I told you, okay?" "I will! Are you going to come to the party?" She asked, excited. Eric hesitated. The truth was, he wasn't invited to this damn party; however, he didn't like Daisy going there alone. If high school was a playground for bullies, a house party looked like the wolf's den. Especially for a young fairy with no sense of self-preservation, no skill for recognizing malice, and no problem getting attached to a thug. He shook his head. "I can't... I'm supposed to see some friends already tomorrow." "Oh..." Said Daisy, looking down. Eric sighed. He could almost see the sad puppy ears... "I'll come and get you around ten-thirty or eleven, okay? So don't do anything reckless and be a good girl. If you don't like something, just say no and walk away. If people annoy you, you remember the kicking thing?" Daisy nodded. "I aim, I close my eyes, and I kick them in the chestnuts!" "That's right, the chestnuts," Eric repeated with a chuckle. "I'll definitely come and get you, so don't go home alone. If you really have to leave the party, just find the closest shop and stay inside." "Okay." Finally, they arrived in front of Daisy's residence, with a big portal stating its name. Eric nodded. It looked like a fancy residence with big gardens, just the kind he had imagined her to live in. Daisy turned to him with a little smile on. He frowned. "Can I ask you something?" "As long as it doesn't involve having s*x with you, yes." "Oh..." Once again, Daisy looked a bit unhappy, but then she shook her head. "Okay! I know what I want to ask. Can I kiss you?" Eric laughed. "Daisy..." "I know, but it's not s*x, it's just a kiss! I really want to try kissing someone, and all the girls in my class have done it!" "You've never kissed someone?" "No..." "Oh, fine," he sighed. "Really!" Eric nodded. He felt that giving her a little kiss would really have no consequence, and if she could forget about the whole s*x thing after a little peck... However, when Daisy put her hands around his neck and pulled him in, it wasn't just for a peck. Eric was so surprised, he opened his eyes for a second. This was not a virgin's kiss! The fairy was grasping his lips, using her tongue, driving him crazy for a second. Once the surprise passed, Eric had no choice but to give. Who knew fairy kisses could be that sexy? Her lips were so sweet, like cotton candy, yet she was so fierce in her kiss, he had to fully focus to keep up with her. He got a bit lost, in their wild kiss, between their lips, and could feel his heart going crazy. Once Daisy finally released him, Eric was stunned. She gave him a bright smile. "That was nice! I think I really like kissing!" "Yeah..." "Alright, I'll go now! See you tomorrow, Eric!" "See ya, sweetheart." He watched her go, trying to process what had happened; what had happened? He had just awakened a kissing monster!
