Gavin stepped back slightly as he reached for the top shelf, the one high above the counter, far out of Alina’s reach. With a bit of effort, he grabbed a common item he knew she'd be using to make breakfast. He brought it down and gently placed it in her hands, flashing her a small, satisfied smile. In that moment, Aiden walked into the kitchen. He slowed down as he entered, his gaze immediately landing on Gavin, who stood near the counter beside Alina. "There you go," Gavin muttered. "You’re here," Aiden said, surprised but not entirely unpleased. Gavin smiled and handed the can of oatmeal to Alina. "Yeah. I came to rescue her from tall shelves."
