Alina glanced at her, confused. "What do you mean?"
"Okay... okay. This is an exclusive design Aiden’s about to launch. I’ve seen this exact one on his secured files."
Alina frowned. “What? This is mine.”
Mandy’s voice changed, still calm, but more serious. “Alina, you know I really like you, right? But I need the truth. How did you get this design? Aiden would be furious if he found out you had it. Did you… steal it?”
Alina’s eyes widened. “What? Steal? Why would I—”
“Then explain so I can understand,” Mandy said, watching her closely.
Alina froze, her mind spinning. What could she say? Mandy clearly didn’t believe her. But this was her illustration...she was sure of it. She had drawn it long before she met Aiden.
