Mandy and Alina walked out of the store and saw Gavin waiting in the car. As soon as he saw them, he stepped out.
But instead of getting in, Alina turned to Mandy.
“I’ll just take a cab from here,” she said with a small smile. “You can go ahead to your nail appointment.”
Mandy pouted. “We could still drop you off.”
“It’s fine. Thanks for the ride. I’ll visit home tomorrow… and I’ll make something for Grandma too.”
Mandy nodded. “She’ll love that.”
Just then, Gavin’s voice cut in. "So, you’re going to Aiden’s place?'
Alina nodded without hesitation. "Yeah."
“Alright, see you tomorrow,” Mandy said quickly. “Don’t forget to send me pictures of your food. I’m curious.”
