Alina dressed quickly, tying her hair back before slipping into a light sweater. She was just about to step out when her phone rang.
She glanced at the screen only to see "Mandy".
“Look who came back from a honeymoon and immediately got sick…” Mandy teased the moment Alina answered. “Aiden asked me to come meet you. I’ll be there in a few minutes, alright? Just need to handle something for Dad first.”
“Oh, take your time. I’m heading out for a bit. I’ll call you once I’m back, I promise.”
"Did something happen?" Mandy asked, her voice curious.
Alina chuckled lightly. "I’m fine, it's nothing serious.”
"Alright, I’ll be waiting," Mandy said before hanging up.
Alina headed downstairs, pausing briefly to tell the head keeper she was stepping out for a bit. Then she left the house
