Bruton knocked at Palvin’s door and waited for him to show up. The princess had stopped crying and she was just looking at the closed door, lifeless. The groom had seen the whole scene between her and the alpha and how his dreams were shattered into pieces. Still, he couldn’t bear to see his dear friend in such a state but he didn’t know what to do to cheer her up. So, he decided to accompany her to her father’s house, hoping he could come up with something appropriate to say in the end.
