Chapter 39
(Magnus) After I dropped Andy off at her doorstep, I somehow made my way home. I barely remembered walking through my door, showering and crawling into bed. The last few weeks had been crazy and it was like my body knew it could finally relax, even if it was just for this one night. Mikal and I had many plans for these coming weeks, plus having Andy and her boy here added to that. I finally gave in to the rolling darkness before Amicus could make a comment about claiming our Animus and I slept straight through till dawn. The morning came swiftly, much to my disapproval but I relished in the familiar smells and scenery before me.
