Beginning of summer

The beginning of summer, how I love it so much. As soon as the last bell rang at my High School, I ran out of class and started toward the front door. Just as I got to the door, someone walked right in front of me and says, " I'm sorry Mrs. Blackwell, but I'm going to have to ask you to please come with me back to the office." I just stood there looking past him at the window of the door and thought to myself, " Damn...I almost made it." I rolled my eyes and followed him to the office. We entered and headed toward the principal's doorway. He tells me to sit down and wait. As I sat there waiting for the long ass speech that I knew My boring principal loves to do, the door opens. As I looked up, it was my twin sister Ivory Rose. And yes people, that's her real name. My mother must of had it in for my sister and I. OH, I didn't tell you My name. Well..., My name is Red Rose. Yes, We both have the same name Rose, but the only thing is I think my mother got the first name wrong because it always seems I'm the one who's getting into trouble. HEY..., What can I say, maybe I'll try better next time. HA,HA,HA,HA, Who am I kidding. You either love me or...Stay out of my way. Ivory stands there with her backpack off her right shoulder and rolls her eyes as she sees her sister Red sitting in the chair. She takes her seat next to her and waits to see what their boring Principal has to say about Red. Mr Brown clears his throat and starts talking as he walks toward his desk, " Red and Ivory, today I got a call from your foster mother and she says you girls can not go home." The girls looked up, but it was Ivory that spoke, " What do you mean...We can't go home?" Red stood up and yells, "WHAT'S GOING ON? IS THIS SOME KIND OF JOKE?" Before the girls could continue, Mr Brown stood up and comes around his desk and sits on it and looks down at the girls and says," Now girls, let me  explain. Your foster mother Mary said...she has found you both and is on her way or she may be here already." Both the girls looked at each other and stood up. Red says, " What...What do we do...Where will we go?" Ivory puts her hand on her sisters shoulder and tells Mr Brown," Thank you Mr Brown for everything you have done for my sister and I. I know it wasn't easy at times, but we really appreciate it. We will be on our way." As the girls walked toward the door, Mr Brown goes in front of the door and tells them, " Girls, I know this is going to be hard, but Mary must of known this day might come because she left you girls something here." He motion for the girls to follow him. They all go toward the stairs that leads them to the basement of the school. Once there, they enter into a room that was full of old files. In the back of the room there was another door, but Mr Brown kept this door locked. He unlocks the door and goes in. He comes back out with two full backpacks, with an envelope. Both backpacks were different colors. One was Red, and one was white. Both of the girls knew which ones was theirs.The girls stood together as Ivory open the letter, " Dear Red Rose and Ivory Rose, If you girls are reading this letter then that must mean she has found you girls. When I got you girls, you were only a few days old. You girls were the most beautiful babies I have ever seen. You have brought so much joy and happiness to my life, and I wouldn't have change anything. I knew the problems of your past that was never your fault. I tried to prepare you girls as much as I could. Some day, you may have to stop running and start fighting to save your life. I love you both as if you were my own and I'll never stop loving you girls. I hope someday I'll see you two again. Until then, take care of each other. I love you two always and forever, MARYANN WHITE.  After the letter, both of the girls were holding each other as they cry. Mr Brown wiped his own tears from his eyes and says, " I'm sorry girls that you two have to go through this alone, but you girls better get going. Here's some extra money for gas and food for your trip. I know Mary gave you girls money too, but I just want to help also. I've known Maryann all my life and I would do anything for my friends. I care about you girls too, so you girls better be off now. It's getting late and you have a long drive to where ever you girls are going. Bye for now." The girls both gave him a big hug and a kiss on his cheek. As they both ran up the stairs and gets outside, they both turned around.  They both don't say anything. They turned and head for the car. Both girls shared a car, since they're always together. They had a White 2014 Honda Accord with Red seat covers and matching floor mates. A gift for their sweet sixteenth birthday from their foster mother and family friends, which was weird and cool at the same time. The girls started to drive toward the freeway on the 101 highway, going North from Santa Anna, California. They head off to who knows where, but as long as they had each other, nothing was going to stop them. Especially their evil birth mother.
