“Xena!” My eyes shot open in an instant as I also sat up on the bed. I glanced around, in search of a particular figure. But instead of Xena, I was met with my sister, Zoe’s confused gaze.
“Ryder! Finally you're awake!” I ignored her and asked instead, “Zoe where's Xena?”
She eyed me and rolled her eyes.
“Are you supposed to be asking about her now? You should be asking for Mom and Dad.” She said, folding her hand on her chest.
