Valkyrie stared at Victor as he spoke.
Why would he assume that she would just do whatever he said? She thought.
This was Xena they were talking about. Does he expect her to lie just to cover up his tracks?
“What do you want me to do?” Valkyrie asked as she stared at Victor. She knew what he wanted, but she still wanted him to say it.
“That thing you told Ryder. You told him I was the one who kidnapped his mate. I want you to deny it,” Victor said, smiling.
Seeing him smile, you'd think he was innocent, incapable of doing any harm. But what you won't know is that he was requesting for Valkyrie to deny seeing him kidnap her best friend.
Valkyrie found it hard to understand, she stared up at Victor while he spoke, wondering what exactly was taking Ryder too
