Everyone is in a frenzy as the alpha is rushed into a car. They stood there shocked for a minute until Xena screamed to take him to the hospital.
Xena was just about to go into the car when Ryder stopped her from entering.
“I think it's better you stay home and wait,” he said. Xena thought that he sounded so hurt and she nodded, taking a step back.
She prayed in her heart that Ryder didn't believe that she was able to poison the Alpha. She knew that he was still shocked to see his father in such a state especially after she had given him a drink.
Xena didn't want to add to his stress, so she went in and asked the rest of the guests to leave, apologizing for the inconvenience too.
Victor stood at a corner, leaning against the wall with a smirk on his face.
