Chapter 10

Christoph

Pag tila ng ulan, I told her to go inside the tree house. I went to my car to get my jacket and after a while I went back to the tree house. I let her wore my jacket until I took her home. It was a beautiful night with her. Trix is really a beautiful and attractive. I was just trying not to fall in love with her. This feeling would go back to the first time I met her; as a sister only.

Two weeks had passed since I went with her to the beautiful place she used to go. It was very awful for me that she shared a small thing about her life. I don't want to think about her but that moment kept on flashing back. She was like a nymph from the sea.

I asked her to go with me in a dinner date. Why do I need to asks her for that dinner? She said that it was alright with her.

Trixie

I was so happy with him. I shared him my dirty-little secret and he swore that he won't tell that to anyone. 'Dirty-little secret' because my parents don't know that I'm into car racing. He was the first person I brought there. Well, he insisted to go there, too.

He asked me for a dinner. Of course, I'll go.

Claire: "Are you having a dinner date later with Christoph?"

Trixie: "Ah yeah... How did you know 'bout it?"

Claire: "Jake told me earlier."

Trixie: "But I don't think I told him about it.."

Claire: "You didn't but Jake told me that Christoph called him and tell him you're going to have a dinner later."

Trixie: "Ah... okay."

Does he need to tell it to them? It was not that I want to hide it from them, but were their opinions kind of important?

Someone knocked in my office. It was our CEO. He is Sir Alexandré. He is three years older than me. He was very young maybe, when he started to manage the company.

Trixie: "Good afternoon, Sir! Is it about the report?"

Alexandre: "Yeah it was about your report earlier."

Trixie: "Don't they accept my offer?"

Alexandre: "No. I mean they accepted everything. Congratulations Trixie! They got what you've offered."

Trixie: "Really? Do they actually liked it?"

Alexandre: "Yeah. Once again, Congrats!"

Trixie: "Thank you Sir!"

Alexandre: "Welcome! But I must be the one saying that because they are our new clients. Thank you very much! Congrats! I never failed choosing you for that position. You're really good and fit for that."

I smiled at him. I was really flattered at that time.

Alexandre: "Is it okay if I asks you out rather dinner with the office staffs? We'll all celebrate for the new clients and projects ahead."

I don't know how to tell him that I'm going out with someone later.

Trixie: "Maybe, next time sir."

Alexandre: "Just this day please. Next time will be our busiest days of work."

Trixie: "I'm going out with someone later."

Alexandre: "Then invite him to go with us. What do you think?"

Trixie: "I'll call him later and asks him."

Alexandre: "Okay. I'll wait for that."

Trixie: "Sir I'll inform you later if he would agree."

Alexandre: "Okay."

After he left me in the office, I called Christoph. He said it was alright to him to go with us. I went to Sir Alexandre's office. I told him that I'll be with them later with Christoph.

Alexandre is wholesome. I mean, he is smart, handsome, gentleman, and very masculine. But the old workers told me that he was snob and very strict before, until I work and he's starting to change. They said that I'm one of his inspirations. 'How?' Of course, I won't never ever believe to what they say. It was just a joke!

The first time I've met him I thought he was just an ordinary worker there like me. But my trainer told me that he was the CEO. I was like 'Ahhhh....' After five months of contractual I was promoted as Ass. Manager. I was really happy. They said that I used a potion that's why I was promoted at my very young age. He always go to my office to check the things I'll present' for the client. Like hello, I must the one who need to go in his office for him to check it. He is too gentleman.

Alexandre: "Oh you're here Ms. Trixie. Is it okay to go with us?"

Trixie: "Yeah. And my friend will be with us, too."

Alexandre: "Okay."

Trixie: "Sir can I just go back to my office now?"

Alexandre: "Ah.. Can I just talk to you for a while?"

Trixie: "Of course Sir."

Alexandre: "Please don't call me 'Sir' everytime we're outside the company or if it's just the two of us."

Trixie: "Then what would I call you Sir?"

Alexandre: "Alexandre. Just Alexandre."

Trixie: "That would be awkward. You're still my boss."

Alexandre: "Please? Do you have a boyfriend?"

Trixie: "I don't have. Can I go back now to my office?"

Alexandre: "Yeah sure. Thanks again!"

I just smiled at him and left his office quietly. I went back to my office and as I sat on the chair then I heard my phone rung.

Trixie: "Hey. Why did you call?"

Christoph: "Nothing. I'm here."

Trixie: "Huh? Where exactly you at Christoph?"

Christoph: "At the parking area. I'm waitin' for yah."

Trixie: "What?"

Christoph: "I'm heading to your office."

Trixie: "Don't!"

Christoph: "I'm inside the company so you couldn't stop me."

Trixie: "Whatever!"

Suddenly someone knocked at the door. I knew it was Christoph.

Trixie: "Come in."

Christoph: Hi! This is for you."

Trixie: "Thank you!"

Everytime he go to the company or in our house he always brings flowers, food, and some stuffs either. He will go with us because he knew about the new clients. Of course, his very talkative friend (Jake) told him. He was really happy for me.

Christoph

While I was talking to Trix someone came and gave her a bouquet of flowers. Darn! I'm gettin' piss off!

Trixie: "Thank you for this Sir. By the way, this is Christoph (Jake's bestfriend) and Christoph he is Sir Alexandre."

Christoph: "Nice meeting you."

Trixie: "Sir Alexandre is my boss."

Christoph: "Oh that's great!"

What the hell! Her boss? Why did the guy needs to gave her flowers? He kept on talking to Trix until we're outside of the company. I told Trix to get in my car heading to Alabang Restaurant.

Claire: "I'll be with Jake."

Trixie: "Okay. Take care!"

While I was driving she suddenly asked.

Trixie: "Why all of a sudden you asked me to go out with you?"

I couldn't look at her because the reason why I asked her was about the deal. Yeah, I really want to have a dinner with her but it was also about the deal. I know it was wrong but I need to do this. I made an alibi.

Christoph: "I just want to. To know more things about you."

She just nodded. My phone was ringing at that moment. Mike was calling. I don't know if I'll answer it or not. Trix is here, she would hear our conversation.

Trixie: "Christoph why don't you answer it? What if it's an important call?"

Christoph: "That's just Mike."

Trixie: "Okay. It's still your choice."

We went to the nearest restaurant. Their boss will pay for all the food.

We entered in the restaurant and they're all waitin' for me and Trix. Alexandre looked at me? 'What was the problem of this monkey?' Trix and I were sitting next to each other then Alexandré was on her left side. Someone asked Trix.'Who is she Trixie? Suitor?'

Trixie: "Actually, he is Jake's bestfriend."

She introduced me to her officemates one by one. We started to eat and Alexandré suddenly talked to her.

Alexandré: "Who used to fetch you after work? Or you drive your own car?"

Trixie: "Sometimes I bring my car but Troy use to fetch me and sometimes Jake, Claire and I go home together.

Alexandré: "Ah okay. You seems so close to each other."

Trixie: "I don't know. A lil' bit."

Christoph: "Do you think two persons who known each other for only three months and two weeks would be that close easily?!"

Trixie: "Christoph are you okay?"

Christoph: "Maybe.. I mean yeah. I WILL TAKE YOU HOME LATER."

I said it with conviction. 'Why am I getting jealous? What the hell is wrong with my f*****g feelings?'

Trixie: "Isn't it too much? You fetch me at my work and later you'll take me home."

Christoph: "Of course not."

Jake: "You could talk privately later. By now, give your time to us."

I looked at him furiously and he was just grinning at me. I'm not jealous! Never! Besides, there's a lot of woman who want to be my girlfriend. She's just a sister for me. After small talked and dinner, Trix went to the restroom.

Claire: "Mike was asking about the deal," she whispered.

Christoph: "I'll handle it better. I'll talk to him tomorrow."

Jake: "What were you talking?"

Claire: "Huh? Ah nothing.. It was just about Sir Alexandré and Trixie. We think that he likes her."

Jake: "Ah okay.."

When Trix came back, I noticed that she seemed pale. What's wrong with her?

Christoph: "Are you okay?"

Trixie: "Yeah I'm fine."

Christoph: "Do you want me to take you home now?"

Trixie: "No. Let's wait them."

Christoph: "Are you sure?"

Trixie: "Yeah."

They ordered champagne and I think we'll be able to go home late. Do you drink Trixie?' one of her officemates asked.

Christoph: "Nope. I'll take it for her."

Jake looked at me and he smirked. Trixie frowned at me. What I've done? She's very moody. Then after that they shouted. Before, Trix and I get in the car Alexandre talked to her.

Alexandre: "Bye Trixie. Take care of her Christoph."

Christoph: "I will. You don't need to remind me. I can take her home safely."

Trixie: "Thank you, Sir. Bye. Christoph let's go now."

I opened the car door for her. She was just leaning on the car window the whole time. She talked to me before going inside their house.

Trixie: "Thanks for the ride and for the flowers."

Christoph: "Welcome. Goodnight Trix."

Trixie: "Goodnight. Take care."
