Chapter 6

Trixie

I'm preparing my things para ready na if ever Christoph fetch us earlier. I also don't want to be haggard. HAHAHA. So may self-conscious ka na? I was so thankful ng pumayag si Troy and my parents na mag attend ako ng birthday celebration ng kapatid ni Christoph. We'll be staying in resort for three days. Maybe it is grand birthday celebration.

Troy: "You better take care of yourself there. Okay?"

Trixie: "Of course. Hello! Don't bother yourself too much 'cause I'm not a child anymore."

Troy: "I'll be going out. I cooked food for you, just eat pag nagutom ka na. Make sure you'll close the doors and windows and turn off the lights."

Trixie: "Okay."

Troy left after he reminded me. As always he was like a fatherhood to me.

Trixie: "Bye. Enjoy your day with your 'soon to be wife.' "

I hope they will get married soon. His girlfriend is really kind and tanggap si Troy ng family niya.  After few hours, I heard the car stopped outside.. It was Christoph with his friends and of course my bestfriend Claire. They are laughing when I came out.

Luke: "At last the queen of Christoph came out."

Trixie: "What?!"

Christoph: "It was nothing. Stop it Luke!"

Luke: "Fine..."

Trixie: "Why were you so early?"

Mike: "'Cause we wanted to have our lunch here."

Trixie: "Come in guys. I was not yet taking a bath and you're already here. Hayyyssss......"

Since I was not yet having my lunch, I decided to eat with them.

Claire: "Where's Troy?"

Trixie: "He's in a date."

While we're having our lunch quietly, all of a sudden Christoph laughed so hard then he looked at me grinning.

Christoph: "I remember the last time I asked her on a dinner, she ordered a lot of food. I couldn't believed until now that she could eat like that. And I think it's a major turn off to Mike."

He said sarcastically. Bwisit ka. Akala ko okay kang kasama!

Trixie: "Who cares? Besides I don't care if someone likes me or not because of the way I eat."

Jake: "Guys stop it. Troy will be here later. He would get angry if he heard how you treat her baby sister."

Trixie: "Don't worry he won't be home and he wouldn't get angry. Ang sabihin mo, he'll have fun of me, too."

After we ate I washed the dishes and Claire helped me to.

Claire: "Wow. They allowed you to go."

Trixie: "I asked mom if she would let me go without forcing her to say yes. I told her that it would be alright for me whatever her decision is. Dad also told me that I am too busy in my work so I have to rest at least for a while. Well, I'm not a child anymore. Troy was always acting that he won't allow me to go. I used to be with his attitude. Haha."

Claire: "Are you still on car racing? "

Trixie: "Shhh... Yeah."

Claire: "Don't worry I would not tell this to anybody. Your secrets are safe to me."

We went to the sala and they were playing X-Box.

Trixie: "Claire I'll go upstairs to take a bath."

Luke: "Hey you don't have to take a bath cause you already smells good."

Trixie: "Who exactly said that?"

Luke's eyes widened. He looked at me terrified.

Luke: "I-I'm not. It was Christoph."

Pumunta ako kung saan nakaupo si Christoph. They were sitting on the floor.

Trixie: "Mike excuse me for a while."

Christoph just looked at me like he doesn't know anything. Then he continued playing X-box.

Trixie: "You!"

Christoph: "What?!"

Aba tinataasan ako ng boses?!

Trixie: "You're getting on my nerves."

Christoph: Huh? What are talking? I don't get you..."

Trixie: "Oh come on! You are a jerk! Stop pretending Christoph."

I punched his face hardly and kicked his feet.

Christoph: "O-ouch... What I've done to you?"

Luke held my arms. Lee, Sam Simon, Jake, Mike, and Claire kept on laughing.

Lee: "He didn't say anything like that..."

I don't know whether I would believe them or not. Okay. I don't have to believe them. Christoph was just pretending that he didn't knew about it at all. But what if he really doesn't said it? How would I apologize?

Trixie: "Who the hell said that?"

Christoph was still lying on the floor. Did I hurt him that bad?

Trixie: "Christoph are you okay? Will you please get up there? I'm not joking... Please.. It wasn't my fault."

Sam: "Then are you trying to say that it was my fault?"

Trixie: "Fine.. I'm sorry. It was my fault, I admit it. I didn't even let you explain. Couldn't you accept my apology?"

Christoph stood and spoke directly.

Christoph: "Troy told me that you're not hurting anyone else but he was wrong because for me you're sadistic."

Trixie: "I said sorry. Isn't it enough?"

Christoph: "Yeah."

Trixie: "Then what do you want me to do?"

He held my shoulder and leaned closer. What was he doing? My eyes widened in shocked.

Christoph: "Kiss me."

Trixie: "Kiss your face! Get off your hands! If that's what you think then call me sadist."

Christoph: "I know you're blaming me even though I was the one who got hurt."

Trixie: "Do you think so? Why would I apologized?."

Sam: "Hello! We're still here guys don't take a moment there."

Trixie: "Again, Sorry!"

Christoph: "Then you're getting angrier?"

Trixie: "I'm not."

It felt so awkward the whole time I was thinking that I hurt him without hearing his side. What had happened to me?

Christoph

Honestly, she was the only girl who hurt me that way. I knew one thing that she really scared of, is to steal a kiss from her. I've seen it in her expression, she was really shocked. Sam, Jake, Claire, Lee, Luke, and Mike kept on laughing after Trix left us. I know that Mike really likes her. But I know his attitude that once he gets what he wants from a girl he would probably left her like a trash. He was a playboy.

Claire: "Why she was so mad at you? I remember the last time we went to Tagaytay she was bad mood. Wait! You're with her that time?"

Christoph: "I don't know..."

Claire: "You have the same dialogue."

Trixie's photo with a guy caught my attention. I think it was their JS Prom night when she was in highschool.

Christoph: "Claire who's with Trixie at this photo?"

Claire: "That was Patrick, her suitor."

Christoph: "I thought she never had any suitor?"

Claire: "You seemed know more things about her. By the way, she never had any suitor because she just didn't really know that Patrick was courting her. Trixie was still that innocent person when it comes to relationship. That's why she doesn't know if someone like her more than friends."

I see. After an hour Trixie went downstairs with the towel on her hand. She was not yet combing her hair.

Simon: "Why don't you wear dress?"

Trixie: "I'm much comfortable to this and I could move better."

Trix was wearing ripped jean, black t-shirt and snickers. She wears really different whenever she's in work (pencil skirt or sometimes slacks, heels, & blouse).

Lee: "Why don't you start combing your hair?"

Trixie: "I don't like to. Or do you want to comb my hair?"

She asked sarcastically and Lee just laughed.

Lee: "If you want me to, I'll do it."

Trixie: "Haha I was just joking."

Trixie went upstairs because she says she will get something. She was serious every time our eyes met. Why?

Christoph: "I'll bring your things in the van."

Trixie: "Thanks! Ah guys if you want to eat just go the kitchen."

Jake: "Okay. I'm really starving."

As she went downstairs, Trixie quickly heads to the kitchen. I think she sipped water. She went to the sala and sat on the sofa. She closed her eyes and suddenly I was frightened because her nose was bleeding. Jake, Mike, Lee, Simon, and Luke were still playing X-box. Their focused were still on the game.

Christoph: "Excuse me guys."

Lee: "Why?"

I sat beside Trix. I held her temple.

Christoph: "Hey Trix. Are you okay?"

She was not answering.

Christoph: "Where's Claire? Tell her to get a towel in Trixie's bedroom. Mike please get some water."

After few seconds, Claire came out from the comfort room.

Claire: "What happened to her?"

Christoph: "She passed out. Claire please get a towel."

After I wiped the blood in her nose I put the basin of water in centre table. She was still on the sofa. After few hours, she woke up holding her head.

Christoph: "Are you okay?"

Trixie: "I'm fine. Why am I here? Did I fell asleep?"

Christoph: "You passed out."

Trixie: "Thanks for your helped though."

Claire: "Do you feel dizzy? Or headache."

Trixie: "No. I'm really fine. Maybe it was because of too much heat earlier."

Christoph: "Just tell us if you feel something wrong 'cause Troy might get angry."

Trixie: "I'm really okay. I assure you guys he won't blame you."

Exactly 5 o'clock when we left her house. Jake was driving while I was on the passenger seat. Claire and Trix was sitting next to each other. Trix was sitting near the window. She was leaning on the window while listening to the songs on her phone. Eventually, Claire sat beside Mike so I was sitting next to Trix. It was so hard to know what she feels. I tapped her shoulder.

Trixie: "Hmm?"

Christoph: "Do you hear me?"

She didn't respond. Suddenly, she takes off her earphone and face me.

Trixie: "Why are you sitting next to me right now? Claire was there earlier."

Christoph: "I thought you didn't heard that we changed our seats."

Trixie: "Yeah I didn't heard but I felt."

Christoph: "You okay?"

Trixie: "Yeah.. Why?"

Christoph: "You look pale."

Trixie: "Ahhh.. I was just kinda' tired."

Lee started teasing us. Later on, Trix was just laughing.

Jake stopped the car at the nearest gasoline station. Trix went to the convenient store and when she came back she brought bottles of water, candies, and snacks for us. Trix was still quiet since we left their house.

Trixie: "Here water and snacks."

Claire: "Trixie thank you! Are you really okay?"

Trixie: "Yeah. I am really fine."

Trix was sleeping until we reached the resort.

Simon: "Would I wake her now?"

Christoph: "No. Let her sleep. I'll wait her til she woke up."

Simon: "Ahem..."

Christoph: "What?!"

Simon: "Nothing."

They brought our things in our room.  Jake, Simon, Lee, Sam, and Mike used to go here. After an hour, Trix woke up. She quickly glanced on her watch.

Trixie: "Why am I still here? Ahhh... and where's Claire?"

Christoph: "She's already in your room. Am I supposed to bring you there?"

Trixie: "Why didn't you wake me up? Ahhhh.... This is so ashamed."

Christoph: "You seemed like no one could interrupt you sleeping that's why I let you sleep for more hour."

Trixie: "Why were you still here?"

Christoph: "I was waiting for you to wake up because I know you might get lost finding your room. Am I right?"

Trixie: "Okay Mr. James Christoph thank you for your kindness today!"

She said smiling. I feel glad everytime I see her smiling. While we're on our way to their room I've seen my brother.

Christoph: "Jan where's mom and dad?"

Jan: "In their room. Who's with you?"

Christoph: "This is Trixie. Jake's officemate."

Jan: "Hi I'm Jan. Nice meeting you."

Trixie: "Nice meeting you, too."

Christoph: "Actually, he's the birthday celebrant."

Trixie: "Ah.. Happy Birthday!"

She greeted smiling. After that, sinamahan ko na siya papunta sa room nila ni Claire. Jake, Mike, Lee, Sam, and Simon were on Claire's and Trixie's room.

Sam: "Is it official now?"

Trixie: "Huh? I don't get it Sam."

Christoph: "It was nothing. He was just asking one stupid thing."

Trixie: "Okay."

Claire: "How are you feeling?"

Trixie: "I feel better. Why do you keep on asking if 'I'm fine, how's my feelin', and whatever I feel?? I am really, really, really fine. Better than all of your feelings. Why y'all asking?"

She hates the fact that we keep on asking her. She was not a self-centered.

Claire: "You looked like you're not sleepin."

Christoph: "Do you have insomnia?"

As I interrupted their conversation.

Trixie: "Girls talked so you better shut up!"

Christoph: "Insomnia?"

Trixie: "Nothing!!"

Exactly 9 o'clock in the evening ang start ng birthday celebration. It was 7:30 when we came at the venue.
