Two weeks had passed since he went to the company. He apologized and, of course I'd forgiven him. Well, it actually hurts me, I mean all the words he had told me. I was finally back to my normal life. One month grounded ends. Punishment ends. I was walking the outside of company and the suddenly...
"Are you free tonight?" bigla na lang susulpot na parang kabute.
"Oh! The son Of! Bakit ba kung saan ka nalang lumilitaw?" napasigaw ako sa gulat.
"I'm not. I think you're just too busy texting someone..." ani nito.
"Sorry Mr. Perfect. Eh what are you doin' here?" sarkastiko kong sabi.
"Want to see you. Can I asks you out? Dinner or maybe coffee?" tanong nito.
"Dinner? Maybe next time. I still have to finish signing all the reports."
"Okay. I knew it. You're still grounded so I am insisting to take you home," pag-aakala na grounded ako.
"Hey! You are definitely wrong. I am just too busy," untag ko.
"Yeah I know. But, I waited you here for three hours," ani nito.
"Did I tell you to wait? Aren't you working?" tanong ko.
"I am. I could go whenever I want to because I've done all my meetings earlier. Can we go now?" mabilis niyang sabi.
"What if I say no?" pang-iinis ko.
"Then I'll stay here until tomorrow just to take you home," seryoso nitong sabi.
"Then do it. I know you couldn't make it," sabay tawa ko.
"Trix, please hatid na kita. Para makabawi na rin sa nagawa ko," pilit nito.
"Why do you always bring up what had happened one month ago? Let's not talk about it. Okay?" I told.
"Okay fine. Please let me take you home," ani niya.
"Okay," sang-ayon ko. While I was in his car we just talked about random things then after pareho na kaming tahimik. I studied the feature of his face. He has long lashes, gray eyes, and pink lips. He is handsome. Why am I doing this?
"Just tell me if malapit na tayo ha," dinig kong sabi niya. And he breaks the ice.
"Y-Yeah. Just park your car on the sidewalk," utos ko and I stuttered.
"You okay?" tanong niya. I nodded as my response. As I've knocked on the gate, Troy opened it. It was already 6: o'clock in the evening as we reached home.
"You seems so early this time," ani ni Troy.
"Huh? Ahm... I'd finished the reports today so I could pass it to the board of directors tomorrow. By the way, kasama ko si Christoph," sabi ko.
"Good evening!" bati nito.
"Come in. Thank you for taking her home," sabi ni Troy.
"No prob," sagot nito. Agad ko siyang pinatuloy sa sala.
"Do you want coffee or juice?" alok ko.
"Anything," sagot nito.
" We don't have 'anythin' in here," sarkastiko Kong sagot. Sinabi ko iyon sa kanya and I laughed. I gave him coffee and loafs of bread. Troy went to his bedroom. Maybe he was talking over the phone with his girlfriend. Few minutes passed, Troy went out of his bedroom.
"I'll just change my clothes," I told Troy. I went to my bedroom and left them in the salas. After I changed my clothes I went downstairs.
"Trixie tell him na dito na mag-dinner," utos ni Troy.
"Okay. I'll prepare the dinner," sabi ko saka mabilis na pumunta sa kusina.
How come they're close now? Wayback highschool and college days, he was bullying my groupmates lalo pag kasama namin dito sa bahay gumawa. Maybe, he's now matured enough. Well it's better. Naku! Mahiya na talaga siya sa girlfriend niya.
"Be careful. Don't be so clumsy," Troy said.
"Whatever!" angil ko.
While we're having our dinner Christoph and Troy talked about their whereabouts. After the dinner I went through our garden with him. "Only girl ka pala sa family nyo," he said.
"Oh yeah. Did he tell you something aside from that?" I purposely asked.
"Yeah," he smirked.
"Like what??" tanong ko.
"That you are hard-headed, stoned heart, boyish, etc," Tsk... sagwa ano ako ruthless?
"Stoned heart?" tanong ko.
"I don't know what he was tryin' to say. Wala kang awa??" biro nito.
"Well I don't care!" angil ko.
Hours passes, we both didn't realized that it was alas dies in the evening.
"Trixie it's already 10. Don't you have work tomorrow?" tanong ni Troy.
"I'll be inside," paalam ko.
"I have to go. Bye! Had a great night with you!"
"Thank you!" I uttered.
"Goodnight!" he said.
