“They?”   She asked, looking at me with curiosity evident in her eyes. I knew it. She just wouldn’t shut up about it. I should be more careful next time. I’d rather us talk about her life than mine. I have to think of distractions to use as when she asked me questions about myself again.   “Did you hear what I just said?” she asked again. She’s obviously running out of patience because I don’t answer most of her questions. But why does she need to ask them anyway? Can’t she go on with her day without bombarding me with her relentless questioning?   “Don’t ask,” I exclaimed.   I guess she can follow instructions well because she stopped with that line of questioning.
