I went outside to clean up the mess we made as I let her rest in the room. I expected to see her fast asleep but when I went back, she was still wide awake. “I thought you’re sleepy,” I exclaimed as I went to bed.
If people were to witness us sleeping in the same bed, they’d probably freak out. But it has been this way for months and we naturally grew close to each other that we don’t mind it at all now. Of course, the first few nights were very awkward. To the point that I even considered sleeping outside or in the swing by the backyard. But I also didn’t want to leave her alone so decided against leaving.
It’s always been fine with me. Us sleeping together. I just hope that it will still be fine now because my body is reacting to her the way I didn’t want it to react. I feel emba
